BoomzShingz
Hi since you have quite alot of cards out already I thought I'd try them out in a simulated duel, using deck builder's toolkit (https://dbtoolkit.com/). Note that I just slapped together something off the top of my head, so this might not fit the current meta, and was played with me and my opponent knowing what cards we'll get next. [spoiler:Thoughts]Fantasia Hunter: OP. Both effects are powerful for their costs, and 2 of these guys on the field was almost certain death for my opponent (Until he played Stardust dragon once). Maybe change the banishing 'monster' to 'Fantasia' monster? Fantasia Mage: Not sure what 'These 2 cards' refer to, Fantasia Mage or the monster you banished? Taken as Fantasia Mage, strong because its 'bad' effect of discarding a card becomes good to get it out to Xyz, almost like Xyzing from your hand. What happens if you have no monster that can be Xyzed? Fantasia Sharpshooter: Balanced I think. Works similar to Dark World cards. Fantasia Summoner: Good support and balance Fantasia Warrior: Able to discard a card and banish it on the same turn for a monster 2500 ATK, should put as discard a card OR banish a monster (Once per turn). Fantasia Priest: Not bad by itself by the 2nd effect, strong when paired with other Fantasias Fantasia Sage: Balanced Fantasia Confabulation: Sorry, didn't use this at all, took it out of the deck after a few rounds to put in call of the haunted Fantasia Safe: Must have 3 in fantasia deck. Discard OR banish very strong as it provides options to the cost. A bit too strong as 1 turn can let this fantasia deck setup a huge combo Fantasia Willpower: Mistook this for a quick-play, and thought it was ok-balanced. As a continuous its on OP I think even one is bad enough, 2 will rip apart any monster-focused decks. Fantasia Reunion: Never got a chance to use this, only drew this in 2 games, both of which I banished all my monsters for other stuff. Probably good when this deck is losing to either stop a rush or Xyz. Fantasia Rivalry: Fun, fun card. Started by using it as a sort of Sakuretsu Armor, then later used it and Xyzed my monster, detach and poof, enemy monster gone. Fantasia Archmage: Good and fairly balanced I think, but so far needs Priest and Sage, so a bit hard to summon. Fantasia Berserker: Summoned it once, but didn't use its 2nd effect though. Seems useful for swarm decks. Fantasia Warlord: Didn't use this, but effect looks well balanced. [spoiler: Most memorable moment]Summoned Summoner by Arnis, then banished Arnis to summon Warrior, discarded Sage for Warrior +500 ATK, special summoned Sage, special summoned Priest, Xyzed Sage and Priest for Archmage, detached Sage to block spells and traps, banished Sage for Warrior +500 ATK, played Fantasia Willpower, destroyed opponent's Mad Dog (We are oldies) with Archmage, returned Sage to graveyard and banished again for Warrior to smash for 3000. Total damage in that turn (Turn 3): 3400 woot. [spoiler:5 minute deck]2 Fantasia Hunter3 Fantasia Mage2 Fantasia Sharpshooter 2 Fantasia Summoner2 Fantasia Warrior2 Fantasia Priest2 Fantasia Sage3 Fantasia Safe3 Fantasia Willpower1 Fantasia Reunion3 Fantasia Rivalry1 Mirror Force3 Broww, Huntsman of Dark World2 Warrior Lady of the Wasteland1 Arnis, the Empowered Warrior1 Kahkki, Guerilla of Dark World1 Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World3 Reinforcement of the Army1 Heavy Storm2 Mystical Space Typhoon [spoiler:Score] 3 out of 5 rounds with a Stardust dragon 'prevent destruction' deck, 2/5 against D.D banish deck, 4/5 against Chaos Beatdown (Chaos magician, Envoy of the beginning) deck Summary: The whole deck works together really well and with some Dark World cards too! But unless more cards are coming, I wouldn't build a deck with purely these monsters and spells, chance for a bad starting hand about 30% I estimate. Adding some stall, control and Dark World cards though makes this good against beatdown decks.
Wolter19
Thanks for the reply! Its really cool to see that someone liked them and even built a deck with them!I made the cards so they would be techable with banishing/discarding decks, but Dark Worlds didnt even come to my head. Nice touch!Mage was supposed to use herself as a material, but Ill probably change to any 2 monsters on your side of the field so she can make archmage. If you have no XYZables, then you can't even activate her banishing effect.I made Hunter he had a good enough cost for both effects, because there is a LOT of "destroy" protection in the current meta. I didnt make this deck to be meta tough, I made to be fun to play with friends, like you did. Maybe I'll swap hunter's costsIll probably balance safe, they needed a showstopper and there is a lot of "return" and "banish from the field" in todays metaThank you so much for your analysys, I'll see what I can figure out! Whenever you can we should play some Duel Portal (www.duelportal.us) , you can use any custom cards posted there!
