HolyPilgrim
It's been a while since I've made some cards. The inspiration came when I was doodling some random lines in a piece of paper, when I noticed they looked like a monster. Then I started drawing some more, until I got 11 of them (All Level 4 Eff. Monsters plus the boss). Then I drew the rest of the cards using MS Paint (because I'm absolutely terrible at drawing). The end result of the art wasn't the best thing of the world, you can barely know what do they mean, but that was the objective, to make them hard to identify - undefined. [spoiler=Lore]It all began one day when a powerful sorcerer, ruler of a far away kingdom, perfected his magical ability to turn things to an undefined form, akin to shadows. He amplified his power and released his spell, which transformed everything in a radius of kilometers into a monochromatic mess of shadows. Creatures and people all got affected by this energy, and many living things of said realm ended up dying, and those who survived got severely transformed. But one of the affected humans, a very powerful knight, managed to survive those mutations barely unscratched, and acquired the power to control the magical shadows. He then departed towards the source of the spell, encountering some of the most dangerous creatures that still roamed the monochromatic, undefined realm... So, let's get to the part everyone wants to see: the cards themselves! (Warning: VERY BAD ART AHEAD) [spoiler=Monsters] [spoiler=Spells/Traps] So, the objective of the Deck is to mantain a perfect cycle between milling your cards to the Graveyard to fuel your basic monsters' effects, and return the banished cards to the Deck to avoid a Deckout and to mantain the cycle, and with this, you slowly undermine your opponent's resources at the same time you try to swarm your field and getting Aetheruler/Shadevalier to the field so you can either get a substantial ATK boost (since the basic Undefined monsters have a lowish ATK) and/or a powerhouse with a high ATK and a rather easy Special Summon condition. But you have to play smart and try to predict the duel to your favor, since most Undefined monsters can only use their effects during your Standby Phase, and the cost for their effects is rather high. Also, due to the level 4 monsters only being able to keep a single copy of themselves at a time on the field, you will have a harder time trying to swarm. On the other hand, the monsters have quite powerful effects, and the fact that they are DARK makes them easy to pair with other monsters like Dark Grepher and Armageddon Knight to mill your deck to fuel their effects, and also pair nicely with Lightsworns to make a Chaos deck. So, what do you think about these cards? Interesting? Horrible? OP? UP? Please give me your oppinion! Thanks in advance!
Brandis72
Where does Egress summon from? (not specified)I think the concept is neat, but the mill power is severly lacking. The deck is too slow, and minuses wayyyy too much.I would suggest tripling all the mill effects (yes, tripling, they're that weak when you consider the costs of your monster effects), although you will have to implement 'but you can only summon Undefined monsters for the turn' restrictions, otherwise Infernoids will abuse the mill power.and also make all the S/T have some sort of draw (damnit, Zone stops drawing) search power attached to it (Gestalt makes you add two Undefined cards at the cost of a discard, Cycle lets you add one Undefined card during each Standby, etc). Finally, make all your guys get some more ATK (1900 max for the regulars, and 2700 max for the XYZ), as the deck has pretty meh swarm power, and because of this, will have a very hard time finishing your opponent off (If you've ever played Spellbooks, you'll know what I mean). You should make Aetheruler return less cards, to make it a bit better. Also, I'd recommend making the effs not happen during standby, since that makes them too hard to pull off... maybe make them flip effects (goes with the theme).I could see the deck being playable after these changes, however.Underpowered for now, but fun looking (although Typhoon and Shadevalier are broken as hell XD).Also, there are minor OCG errors besides that one, but the cards are still perfectly comprehensible.
