BANZAI!!!!
Main character's ace monster for the fic I'm working on. I figured I'd post it here for shits and giggles and some critique if anyone feels like it. Its meant to synergize with both Red-Eyes and Vannilla Pendulums. Flavor-wise its an alternative evolutionary path to Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon, with a change to FIRE as opposed to DARK and an emphasis on protection and more permanent removal as opposed to burn damage. Name comes from the Sun's corona, which is the hottest layer of the Sun's surface. It burns hotter, and as a result is harder to penetrate, hence the rather potent protection effect it gains when Gemini summoned. Pendulum Effect: If a Normal Monster(s) you control would be removed from the field by a card effect; you can destroy this card in your Pendulum Zone to negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. Monster Effect:Cannot be Pendulum Summoned from the hand. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing 1 Pendulum Monster you control, then sending 1 Dragon-type "Red-Eyes" monster from your hand, Deck, or your side of the field to the graveyard. When you Pendulum Summon this card from the Extra Deck; you can Normal Summon this card (even if you have already Normal Summoned this turn). If you Normal Summon this card with this effect; you can banish 1 card your opponent controls. This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is a Normal Monster on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect.● Once per turn, during either player's turn: you can send one Pendulum Monster from your hand or your side of the field to the graveyard, and if you do, this card is unnafected by your opponent's card effects until the end of this turn (this is a quick effect).
