Silencerleader
Some say it comes from deadly repeatedly done topics coming about...but where do you think it came from? Here is what Wikipedia and many other sites have to say:"Spam" is a popular Monty Python sketch, first televised in 1970. In the sketch, two customers are trying to order a breakfast from a menu that includes the processed meat product in almost every dish. The term spam (in electronic communication, and as of 2007, general slang) is derived from this sketch.
Junk Raver
If 'Spam' did come from the Sketch that indeed would be kool ^_^
Arekku_Koro
Wow, I didn't know that. I thought it was just because people don't like spam.

Silencerleader
No. Spam comes from the majority of the world being too ****ing stupid to know how to type correctly. That too I suppose...but the Monty Python one was legend to SPAM.
CrabHelmet
SPAM was canned meat; the Monty Python sketch made Spam what it is today (since the vikings singing spam, like spam in real life, drowns out all conversation).
