Atypical-Abbie Posted December 7, 2015 Report Share Posted December 7, 2015 A card that's able to destroy any number Spell/Trap Cards on the field, though it must destroy your own to do so (or opponent's if you wish to destroy your own). You can target any number of Spell/Trap Cards on the field, but you must target the same number on each side of the field; destroy them, and if you do, Special Summon this card from your hand and this card's ATK and DEF becomes equal to the number of cards destroyed this way x 500, also you cannot Special Summon other monsters for the rest of the turn. Hello my name is Enguin Posted December 7, 2015 Report Share Posted December 7, 2015 Outside of things like blowing up your scales, ideally featuring something like Ariadne, it feels a bit weak. Unless the things you're popping are giving you something in exchange for their destruction it feels like it's just a monster version of Twin Twister except it locks your plays by restricting summons. The stats are unlikely to reach above the 2k mark which is alright but basically everything in everyone's extra deck gets over it. I might be missing something that makes this more useful but right now it doesn't seem to have a place anywhere. I thought maybe Artifacts but you can't summon them off this. Harpies for the Hysteric Sign plusses but there are infinitely better ways of getting that off, their own field spell for example, and this is an 8 so doesn't even work with Channeler. Hello my name is Enguin Posted December 7, 2015 Report Share Posted December 7, 2015 I don't even know what to suggest, removing the Duality clause would be a start for it, and I would make it a 7 just because it can then work with Odd-Eyes stuff and be actually practical for inclusion in Magician and possibly other pendulum decks. Maybe if it allowed you destroy any number of cards you control to pop the same number of backrow, but then you'd have to include some sort of clause to prevent the use of tokens for this because otherwise Scapegoat becomes quadruple MST and a 4k body. Suppose if that were to be added the ATK boost may have to be knocked down to 400 per card or even 300 but 4 would be fair in all likelihood. I'm just not sure what way to go with it because I feel like I'm forgetting something that could utilise this well, not Graydles because only like 1 has the effect off death by monster effect and they're terrible anyway but Yang Zings, that's the one. Yang Zings getting something like that would be ill-advisable so don't know that that could really be a viable path to follow. Really I'd like to see anything you come up with to change it and then go from there because it's your concept and my suggestions have been counter-intuitive and contradictory so I'm going to end this post. I won't change to cards, that would make the flavor go away with it destroying Pendulums, since they have those crystal-looking Pendulum Scales. It also would make it a ton more powerful, since removing monsters is a lot more powerful than removing Spell/Trap Cards (at least for certain Decks). I am thinking about boosting it to 1000 instead of 500, since you would still needt to destroy quite a lot for that to work, though in that case, it's probably best to keep the SS condition.
