Decided to make this card because I wanted something to actually make matches ending in a draw more frequent. Vanishing Stars

This card can only be activated when your opponent has 7000 or more LP above yours. Reduce both players LP by 8000 and destroy all cards on the fields and on both player's hand, negating all of their effects. You can only activate one Vanishing Stars per duel.

Well in order to really achieve that Draw Condition (I know there are trolls out there, but why promote this?!)  you have to let your Life Points go very low, and not do anything, or let anything happen to your opponents Life Points. This is going to just be a dead draw a lot of times.

 

Unless you build your deck around it : Wabokus, Scarecrows, and Battle Faders oh my! Ring any bells? That is right it will only cause Final Countdown decks to have their emergency break back (if you know anything about the format when Final Countdown Decks thrived you know the torture it brought to a lot of players) On paper, this would just be a worse version of Self-Destruct Button: Thank god that card is banned in TCG; why go back to it?

 

In only very extreme cases, (e.g. both players lp above 8000 and still have 7000 difference) would you survive for the destruction effect to be applicable because in most cases you and your opponent are already dead.

 

In all honesty, I strongly think that a Draw should just be something that happens once in a blue moon, and not something that could be manipulated by a card. I'm sure 1 of the mods would consider this a Joke card. You may want to read the Casual Cards rules on the forum.

Well... Yeah, I just decided to make it because I was fresh out of ideas... To be honest, I do realize it is not viable at all... Just found the image was cool... I just wanted to make a card with that image and... well, while it is useless for the most part at least the name is cool, I think so at least.
