avariademon Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 well here is the second card i decided to post but im starting to realise something. i haddent takein into consideration the fact that they are water. i mean one monster can take you only so far in a game, if your opponent has adiquate protection like a sakuretsue this deck could be screwed most to all of its monsters require to be alone to work properly but its like im looking at then and i add in a legendary ocean into the mix and its just becomeing worse and worse. which brings me to this card, this card was touching on one of the extreemes of being alone on the feild, easy to hit the feild and powerful. however it has its limitations. for a set full of monsters that were powerful at a price i had to do one like this: but again legendary ocean just imagine. a 2600 atk 3 star monster, is that not overpowered? in order to ballence the card even sleightly, i added in the inibility to attack the turn it comes into play, that way its not a suprise it hits and your opponent gets a turn to figure out how to deal with it. it should be ballenced but then again i didnt take legendary (among other water support cards) into consideration untill after creation of these cards, and its just it feels TO weak unless its atleast 2400 but then its like broken if legendary hits the feild. so rate and if you have any suggestions then that would be nice. Why not make it level 5 and lower the cost so it can be abused with ALO? well to be honest the only similarity it has to cave dragon is its first effect. though i admit the consept behind the two monsters has a bit of similarities in and of themselves i wasnt thinking of cave dragon when i made this card i assure you. the thing about that is, i dont want this set to be completly ALO friendly, i dont want to make it so the cards are only truely good AFTER ALO hit the feild. and all in all the point of the card is to be a big monster with 4 or less stars. because if i made it the way you are implying, why not just make it another 2400 5 star water type monster no effect? cause its not interesting, and its been done before Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Toon Gemini Elf:Generates advantageSearchableCan attack directly with Toon World active, which combos with discard effect This card:500 ATK Notice how nobody uses Toon Gemini Elf?
