"Drakorian Guard" Archetype [Written]

An Archetype that Broke N. and I worked on. Visually, the Archetype combines the aesthetics of the Ratchet & Clank and Spyro the Dragon games, with the majority of the Main Deck monsters resembling a cross between lombaxes and dragons. The Beast-Warrior Drakorians utilize a mix of Technology and Magic through the use of enchanted Power Suits (Equip Spells) and the sentient Mechadrakorians (Synchro Monsters).

Renegade of the Drakorian Guard

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is equipped with a “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card, and this is the only monster you control: You can Synchro Summon a Level 8 FIRE Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck by using this card and the equipped “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell card as Synchro Materials. (The Equip Spell Card is treated as a Level 4 Normal Monster for this Synchro Summon.) You can only use this effect of “Renegade of the Drakorian Guard” once per turn.

You can only use this effect of “Summoner of the Drakorian Guard” once per turn. When this card leaves the field: You can target 1 of your banished “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Cards and 1 face-up Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster you control; equip the first target to the second target.

(You can only gain this effect once per turn.) You can only use 1 effect of “Medic of the Drakorian Guard” per turn, and only once that turn.

Once per turn: You can discard 1 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card from your hand; destroy 1 monster your opponent controls.

During the End Phase of a turn that this card destroyed a monster by battle: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 “Mechadrakorian Guard” Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck (in which case, this Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon) or Graveyard.

If this card is destroyed (either by battle or by a card effect): You can target 1 Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position.

If this card is destroyed (either by battle or by a card effect): You can target 1 Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position.

When a “Drakorian Guard Drone Token” leaves the field: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent, and if you do, you can add 1 “Drakorian Guard” monster or “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card is destroyed (either by battle or by a card effect): You can target 1 Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position.

Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can banish this card from your Graveyard and target 1 “Drakorian Guard” monster you control; the target is unaffected by your opponent’s card effects until the end of this turn.

Power Suit Mk 01: Horn-Type
Equip Spell
Equip only to a face-up Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster you control. A monster can only be equipped with 1 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card at a time. The equipped monster gains 400 ATK and DEF. When the equipped monster battles another monster: You can activate this effect; destroy the opposing monster without applying Damage Calculation. If the monster equipped with this card leaves the field because of your opponent’s card (either by battle or by a card effect): You can add this card to your hand instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Power Suit Mk 02: Spin-Type
Equip Spell
Equip only to a face-up Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster you control. A monster can only be equipped with 1 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card at a time. The equipped monster gains 400 ATK and DEF. Once per turn: You can target 1 Spell/Trap card on the field; return the target to its owner’s hand. If the monster equipped with this card leaves the field because of your opponent’s card (either by battle or by a card effect): You can add this card to your hand instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Power Suit Mk 03: Wing-Type
Equip Spell
Equip only to a face-up Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster you control. A monster can only be equipped with 1 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card at a time. The equipped monster gains 400 ATK and DEF. Up to twice per turn, the equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle, or by card effects. If the monster equipped with this card leaves the field because of your opponent’s card (either by battle or by a card effect): You can add this card to your hand instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Power Suit Mk 04: Rebound-Type
Equip Spell
Equip only to a face-up Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster you control. A monster can only be equipped with 1 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card at a time. The equipped monster gains 400 ATK and DEF. If the equipped monster destroys a monster by battle: You can activate this effect; return the destroyed monster to the owner’s Main Deck instead of sending it to the Graveyard or Extra Deck. If the monster equipped with this card leaves the field because of your opponent’s card (either by battle or by a card effect): You can add this card to your hand instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Power Suit Mk 05a: Dark-Type
Equip Spell
Cannot be equipped by a card effect. Can only be activated by destroying a “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card you control, except a “Power Suit Mk 05” Equip Spell Card. Equip only to a face-up Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster you control. A monster can only be equipped with 1 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card at a time. The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK and DEF. The equipped monster must attack, if able, and can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. The equipped monster inflicts piercing Battle Damage. If the monster equipped with this card leaves the field because of your opponent’s card (either by battle or by a card effect): You can add this card to your hand instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Power Suit Mk 05b: Banish-Type
Equip Spell
Cannot be equipped by a card effect. Can only be activated by destroying a “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card you control, except a “Power Suit Mk 05” Equip Spell Card. Equip only to a face-up Beast-Warrior-Type “Drakorian Guard” monster you control. A monster can only be equipped with 1 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Card at a time. The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK and DEF. If the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, after damage calculation: You can banish that opponent's monster, and if you do, gain LP equal to half of that monster’s ATK or DEF (whichever is higher, your choice if tied). If the monster equipped with this card leaves the field because of your opponent’s card (either by battle or by a card effect): You can add this card to your hand instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Drakorian Academy
Field Spell
All “Drakorian Guard” monsters on the field gain 300 ATK and DEF. Once per turn: You can reveal 3 “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Cards with different names from your Deck and have your opponent randomly add 1 of them to your hand, and then shuffle the other 2 cards back into your Deck. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 “Drakorian” card from your Deck to your hand.

Drakorian Scavenger Hunt
Continuous Spell
Once per turn, when you Summon a Level 4 "Drakorian Guard" monster: You can target 1 Equip Spell Card in your Graveyard that can be equipped to the Summoned monster; equip that target to that monster, but destroy it during your End Phase. When this card is destroyed: You can add 1 "Power Suit Mk" Equip Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand.

Going Commando!
Normal Trap
Activate during either player's Battle Phase: Destroy all “Power Suit Mk” Equip Spell Cards you control; until the End Phase of this turn, all “Drakorian Guard” monsters that were equipped with those cards gain 1000 ATK, also they cannot be destroyed during this turn’s Battle Phase(s).

Mechadrakoverload
Normal Trap
(This card is always treated as a “Drakorian” card.)
Activate by Tributing 1 "Mechadrakorian Guard" monster you control, then targeting up to 2 monsters your opponent controls, each with an ATK equal to or lower than the Tributed monster's ATK; destroy that target(s). Afterwards, Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Drakorian Guard" monster from your hand or Graveyard.
