bumpalumpa
I'm thinking maybe this can make Pendulum D/Ds less terrible, plus give them a good Rank 7 to go into D/D/D Saintly King AlfredDARK/Rank 7Fiend/Xyz/Effect2 Level 7 "D/D" MonstersWhile this card has Xyz Material: Your opponent cannot target "D/D" cards you control with card effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; shuffle all cards in each player's Pendulum Zones into the Deck, also, after that, place up to 2 "D/D" Pendulum Monsters from your Deck in your Pendulum Zones. 2600 ATK / 3200 DEF EDIT: Changed protection effectEDIT: Fixed card text
Hello my name is Enguin
Wow that's, I mean... This is ridiculously strong. It makes all your D/D/Ds near invulnerable to effect removal, because everything that's not Raigeki targets, and it means none of their effects can be stopped because Fiendish/BTS/Veiler all need targets. On top of that it's 2600, so basically UTL is the only way most decks can get over it, and if that fails they're fucked. Now, I don't know how easily D/D/Ds make 7s, I've not used them and recently I've not faced them either, however cursory glance at their members and I see they've 3 pendulums of level 7, a plain effect monster, D'Arc and the synchro. So that's 6 potential materials they can use, don't know if they're all run, I know some of them at least are, so taking it by looking it does appear relatively easy for them to do, and this is definitely worth going into when the other 7s available are Big Eye and Dracossack, both of which are more defensive or reactive whereas this also has an offensive aspect and utility. The scale annihilation effect really feels like overkill. Sitting behind a 3200 non-targetable wall and then being able to not only completely fuck any pendulum deck, but also to grab your own scales for free is too much. Taking the ideal scenario where your opponent sets scales and you've none, you +4 (+2 shuffling your opponent's shit back, +2 bringing yours). That's not remotely fair. I'm not overly opposed to the shuffle back, but I think you should have it only give you an amount of scales equivalent to that which you shuffled back. It is then, at most a +2, which is still incredibly strong, but at least a bit fairer. Overall, despite only having 2 very short effects, I feel like it does too much for too little. Only just realised it protects your scales from targeting as well, fuck it then, this is really too strong.
bumpalumpa
Yeah, it does seem a lot stronger now that I look more. tbh, this was made to make D/D/Ds the broken level of the current Tier 1 decks. Bringing this card out is a bit on the easy side now that I think about it, especially with how easy it is to summon two D'Arc with the amount of Fusion options the Deck has. Anyway, D/D/Ds almost never Pendulum Summon, and their Scale effects are lackluster, so that effect I'm not going to change by much other than a small nerf, but for the non-targeting effect I'm probably going to let Alfred himself be targeted, so it's easier to out.
