Makes 7-mat Ptolemaeus and thus it's Arcana Force XII actually viable and thus I like the idea, but it does seem the type of thing that would largely be overkill. I don't know what to suggest to change because if you make it combined ranks then it's just Xyz Universe in a normal spell, but 2 rank 4s into a rank 4 just feels a bit shite. From the name I presumed it'd be like Rank-Up-Magic Monster Reborn or something, so that's a thing that it could become, but CDI just fucks such ideas up a bit by its existence.

 

I can't offer any real criticism but at the same time I can't praise it because it does something that's potentially useful, but can be such a dead draw it's likely not worth it for such a small pay-off. Number 86 with like 7/8 mats would be absolutely magnificent, as would the aforementioned 7-mat Ptolo, but clearly both of those are getting into the wombo combo side of the game, and hardly a reason to run this.

I see where your coming from Enguin.  But the idea was to use up Xyz's that might have used up all their overlays, replace unneeded Xyz's with new ones to solve more pressing issues, or potentially Call of the Haunted with an existing Xyz into a new one.

 

Any suggestions to make the card better are welcome.
