Are we alive, or are we in an illusion? Is is that all is dream and we live a lie? Or is it that we truly see and live?

Illusion and Reality is perception.

 

The answer to this question is that reality does not really exist outside of your own head, and that IF YOU BELIEVE WE LIVE IN REALITY, WE LIVE IN REALITY, but at the same time, if you believe that we live in illusion, we live in illusion, respective to the person's perception that believes this.

 

Basically, its whatever you want it to be, and it truly MAKES NO DIFFERENCE TO HOW YOU SHOULD LIVE YOUR LIFE!

Through a scientific standpoint we are real. We experience pain, love, happiness, etc. In what we believe to be illusion, we should be able to do all the things we would love to do (fly, have super powers, special abilities, etc).

 

I do believe, however, that reality conforms to popular census. Whenever someone thinks differently than us (I.E. mentally challenged, derranged, handicapped) we believe them to be of a lesser ability to those who are "normal". Perhaps, in a way, they are experiencing the world in a more realistic way and we cannot comprehend what is happening because we cannot experience it the same way we are.

 

So, are we real? Yes.

What is reality? Individuals conforming to the ideals of a whole.
