You can Normal Summon 1 Fairy-Type monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 Level 2 or lower Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Herald of Bonding Light" once per turn.

[spoiler=Design Notes] Okay so I made this in respect to how slow some Fairy-Type archetypes are like Majestic Mech, Agents, and the hand-trap Heralds. However, this might add some unwanted consistency to Fluffals (it can search Fluffal Wings, and a few others.) It is just fun little enabler. What do you guys think? Ohh and fun fact: it gets off Watapon's effect. With that in mind, along with a few other things, it could also introduce the possibility of a Fairy Quasar.dek  :D

Also, I thought the hand trap Heralds kind of looked lonely and stupid without their own catalyst to go into their XYZ and their Synchro.

Well, the additional Summon is nice. It's best for getting out Sky Calvalry Centaurea, although I guess that the other Rank 2 Xyz could use this too.

 

Hmm... This also leads to the potential of making Rituals faster. After all, you can just Summon a Level 2 Tuner with this guy for Herald of the Arc Light. Not too sure with Majestic Mechs, but Heralds would definitely receive a push.

 

The adding is a good bonus. Your hand would be running out fast Summoning all those Fairys. Maybe Shining Angels would begin to see more play again? Lol.
