I'm new here but I'll introduce myself in another forumBut anyways I have a new Archetype ideas called Medallions! Medallions revolve around getting monsters to the graveyard and to boost their Boss Monster (which is later on) and makes you heal life points.Keep in mind that I tried my best to make these cards as balanced as possible but at the same time they feel broken to me, tell me what you think if the cards that I made are broken or not. Ok, Enough chit-chat let's get to it 1st Card Name: Mist, Brave Warrior of the MedallionAttribute: LIGHTType: WarriorLevel: 4Effect:When this card is Normal Summoned, You can return one of your Banished Monsters to the Graveyard.If this card battles an opponent's monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, Inflict the difference as battle damage to your opponent also, destroy that monster.If this card leaves the field, you gain 500 Life Points.ATK: 1850 DEF: 1700I personally think It's Broken.Why? because that the fact that say you have Zielgigas and he has 0 DEF.So I can inflict battle damage and destroy it.Too broken for me at least.Like I said, please give me your opinions! 2nd Card Name: Aliza, Fairy of the MedallionAttribute: LIGHTType: FairyLevel: 3Effect: When this card is Summoned, Shuffle up to 2 "Medallion" cards from your Graveyard to your Deck and your Opponent draws cards for each card shuffled by this effect.Your opponent cannot target other LIGHT monsters for attacks, except this one.Once per turn, if this card is targeted for an attack,negate the attack and if you do so change the battle position of that monster.You can only control 1 "Aliza, Fairy of the Medallion"ATK: 500 DEF: 800OK, This one is rather balanced than broken this may be the most balanced one I've made so far.I have nothing else to say and also you can only have 1 of her on the field so yeah. 3rd Card Name:Shining WorldType:Field Spell CardEffect:Level 6 or higher "Medallion" Monsters you control cannot be targeted for attacks or card effects.When a Card Effect is activated, place 1 Medal Counter on this card (max. 12). You can remove 3 Medal Counters from this card to activate one of the following effects.-Draw 1 card, then Discard 1 card-LIGHT and DARK monsters you control gain 900 ATK Until the End Phase-Add 1 "Medallion" Spell/Trap card to your handYou can only use the effects of "Shining World" once per turn, and only once that turn.So, Mist and Aliza can still be targeted for attacks and effects, But the higher level ones cannot be targeted (So far I've only made 1 higher monster than 6 which is a medallion one).But I'm planning to put the max medal counters on 6 since y'know balance. 4th Card Name: Legacy of LightType: Normal Spell CardEffect:Activate this card if you have 5 or more "Medallion" Monsters in your Graveyard.Gain 1000 life points and you can Normal Summon 1 "Medallion" Monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set.You can only use the effect of "Legacy of Light" once per turn.So, It's relatively simple.If you have 5 Medallion Monsters (they could be the same names) you gain 1000 and can NS 1 Medallion Monster.Then again to me it's a little bit broken OK,So now we are moving on to the Boss Monsters! (There is only 2 but you know, HYPE!) 5th Card Name: Reaper,Keeper of the TombstoneAttribute:DARKType:FiendLevel:10Effect:This card cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.If this card is sent from the Hand or Deck to the graveyard, You can special summon it by banishing 1 other card in the graveyard.If this card is summoned this way, It's ATK and DEF both Become 3000.This card cannot declare an attack to any Monster except DARK or LIGHT Monsters. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, Send all other cards from the field to the Graveyard and each Player loses Life Points equal to the cards sent to the Graveyard by this effect x200ATK: 0 DEF: 0The Effect is basically saying that "If I die,you're going down with me!".It's Balanced to me and as well Mist can help you get back that banished card if it was a monster.for a condition to get a 3000 beater,that's not bad to me.I know It doesn't have "Medallion" in its name but it's more of a support card than anything! Alright,We're almost there to the final boss but this boss needs to be summoned with this! Name:Final Enlightenment - MedallionType:Quick-Play SpellEffect:Activate this card if both players have more than 20 cards in their graveyards. Both players discard their entire hands and if they do so, Both players Special Summon as many monsters as possible with 2500 or more ATK from their Graveyards. If there are 5 or more monsters on the field, You can Tribute all monsters on your side of the field and Special Summon 1 "Medallion Dragon" from your Deck or Graveyard.You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this cardYes I know,the card design is rather dull.But I'll try to update the artwork if I can.This card is like a ritual but this time, It's like a Quick-Play Ritual (If this card was official,It would be limited straight away, I'm sure). You already read the boss monster's name but, Did you see him? well, here he is! Name:Medallion DragonAttribute: DIVINEType: Dragon/Divine BeastLevel:12Effect:Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.Cannot be Special Summoned except with the effect of "Final Enlightenment - Medallion" and cannot be summoned in other ways, neither Player can activate effects in response to this card's Special Summon.When this card is Special Summoned, send all cards from both Player's Decks to their respective graveyards.This card gains ATK equal to the amount of cards in both Players' Graveyards x500.This card cannot declare an attack except by paying 1000 Life Points.If this card leaves the field, you gain 3000 Life Points also both you and your Opponent won't lose by decking out.ATK:? DEF: 1000This is the card that will make your opponent go, "....wut" You and your frien-I mean enemy won't lose by decking out and it is the ultimate OTK Overkill, I actually meant for this card to be broken, yet balanced idk. UPDATE [12/03/2016] Pendulum Support and new cards! Since I had fun doing the last badge of my cards, I decided to make 4 new cards! 2 Pendulums,1 Monster,1 Trap! 8th Card Name: Sing, Fantasy King of the MedallionAttribute: EARTHType: WarriorLevel: 6Effect: When you control no set spell/trap cards, you can Special Summon this card but it's ATK becomes 1900.This card gains 400 ATK for each "Medallion" monster you control.Once per turn, you can target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls, Take control of it until the End Phase, You cannot Normal Summon the next turn after you activate this effect.If this card is sent to the Graveyard, You can Special Summon 1 "Medallion" Monster from the Graveyard except "Sing, Fantasy King of the Medallion".This is more like a burning abyss effect card but It's hard to take it down because if you have shining world, It's over. 9th Card Name: Medallion SurvivalType: Normal Trap CardEffect: When a "Medallion" Monster is targeted for an attack.Negate the attack and all monsters face-up on the field lose ATK equal to half of the ATK of the monster.Imagine the effect like this if you are confused, Your opponent attacks Mist with a 2000 beater.
