Guest BGMCANN0N
Code 99[spell/ Quick-Play] When a monster would be destroyed by battle: shuffle that monster into the Deck instead; the owner of that card draws 1 card. Immediately after this card resolves, end the Battle Phase. Just something inspired by EMS terminology... Nothing more.
Kupoin
Sorry I took so long! Anyway - I'd like to see this as part of an archetype that takes advantage of one of those effects... Maybe 'Code' monsters? That'd be neat, like... 'Code Eater.' Or 'Code Breaker.' Oh! And all of their support cards (Spells/Traps) could be Code #99 or somesuch. That'd be neat. As for the effects themselves - I'll go ahead'n say I think the Draw power this has the potential for isn't too bad, but as it stands the wording should make it clear whether or not this happens before or after damage calculation. I suppose you could ASSUME one or the other, but clarification leads to fewer arguments; personally, I'd prefer it if the shuffling happened after the fact, so that way it has a cost. Why? Well - you could use this from the hand during your own battle phase to shuffle your deck, draw a card, proceed to MP2 and maybe put down a better monster or make a better play. That's good, and without any real cost, that makes it a little too good. Just my two cents.

However, I believe it is a lot better considering that it's a Quickplay Spell, as well as being able to end the Battle Phase like Negate Attack. Not only are you allowed the draw, you can also stop your opponent from pummeling you with whatever arsenal they have built up. However, I believe that you would still have to take damage from the first attack because damage calculation is applied normally. This card is also similar to Draw Muscle, but Code 99 can prevent the destruction of ANY monster by battle for the draw as well as ending the BP. It can be very useful when you're running a deck like Monarchs, since they don't have any effects to SS a dead Monarch in the Graveyard. Also, like any deck, draw power is always going to be good.
