fortunamia
Flame SwordsmanFIRE✪✪✪✪✪Warrior / Fusion / EffectATK 1800 / DEF 1600"Flame Manipulator" + "Masaki the Legendary Swordsman"When a "Blue Flame Swordsman(s)" you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) You can only use the effect of "Flame Swordsman" once per turn. I feel like this would finally bridge the gap between the real-life Blue Flame Swordsman and Flame Swordsman, as well as alleviate the animosity people feel toward the former's TCG effect, and all without having to drastically alter the presence of either card in the actual game (i.e., making Flame Swordsman a Normal Monster or amending Blue Flame's established effect). Not to mention that it would greatly facilitate Rank 5 Xyz Summons while also allowing Flame Swordsman to become a viable candidate for another Blue Flame's effect after it's been sent to the Graveyard (adding even more reminiscence of its anime-effect). Personally, I would just love to be able to finally include one of my favorite character's most famous monsters in the character-deck of his I've made, as Blue Flame was the last chance I or anyone had of being able to do so using only authentic "Joey" cards, and that chance was lost when the makers chose to remove what was arguably the most iconic and cherished part of Blue Flame's effect.Everyone please feel free to let me know what you think, as I know for a fact I'm not the only one who was at least a little hurt when such a sought-after card was all but totally ruined.
