Azure Wolf
I need to get back into card making and I have unfinished archetypes so I'll go though them and attempt to finish them. Anyway Dredgers. Had this idea almost a year ago, posted half of the planned archetype then stopped. They are a FIRE/Warrior Pendulum archetype that focus on using the graveyard as the deck, allowing you to add the top card of your graveyard to your hand rather than your standard draw. Probably work on these more tomorrow and do any fixes then as well as their saved on another computer. MonstersDredger FlineFIRE Warrior Pendulum EffectLevel 4 {2} {2}Spell Effect - You can target 1 "Dredger" in your Pendulum Zone, except "Dredger Fline": Destroy it, and if you do; add 1 card from your graveyard to your hand.Monster Effect - If this card is Special Summoned from your graveyard: Excavate the top 3 cards of your deck; Send all "Dredger" cards to the graveyard and return the rest to the bottom of the deck in any order. You can only activate this effect of "Dredger Fline" once per turn. During your Draw Phase you can add the top card of your graveyard to your hand instead of conducting your normal draw. If you have no cards in your deck during your Draw Phase you lose the Duel. Dredger DifineFIRE Warrior Pendulum EffectLevel 3 {6} {6}Spell Effect - During your End Phase: Excavate the top 5 cards of your deck; Send all "Dredger" cards excavated to the graveyard and return the rest to the bottom of the deck in any orderMonster Effect - If this card is sent to the graveyard by an opponents card effect; Special Summon it. If this card is Special Summoned from your hand; Send 1 "Dredger" card from your deck to your graveyard. You can only activate this effect of "Dredger Difin" once per turn. During your Draw Phase you can add the top card of your graveyard to your hand instead of conducting your normal draw. If you have no cards in your deck during your Draw Phase you lose the Duel. SpellsRise of the DredgerContinuousYou can target 1 level 4 or lower "Dredger" monster in your graveyard; Special Summon it. You can only activate the effect of "Rise of the Dredger" once per turn. TrapFall of the DredgerNormalShuffle any number of "Dredger" monsters from your graveyard or Face-up in your Extra Deck into your deck; inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of cards shuffled x 200. You can banish this card from your graveyard; Send 1 "Dredger" card from the deck or the graveyard.
CCDCC
(Little "warning": this is newb writing this) While I am confused as to why they are named "Dredger" (a type of boat a believe), let's put that aside. The current cards (especially since this is a pendulum archetype, where scales and the levels of monsters are everything) don't really allow me to say much about it... what I can tell however is that I like the concept. Pendulums have a tendency to avoid being sent to the graveyard, going into the extra deck instead, getting reused... now, if you (finally!) manage to get rid of them: They return anyways! I like it. Basing it around excavating is nice too, good and simple way to send pendulums to the graveyard (but it also forces you to run a certain number of Dredgers to be worth it, making cards relying on such effects/ using such effects hard to use outside of the archetype while also making support from outside the archetype less viable) and you seem to be aiming for using monsters in the graveyard in various ways. "Dredger Difine" worries me a little, or rather, "Fall of the Dredger" does, if the toolboxing and excavating in this deck becomes too powerfull, "Fall of the Dredger" could turn into an OTK/FTK... (20 monsters are all it needs... and difine covers up to 1/4 of this amount.) You may want to add ATK and DEF values to your monster cards. For now, I'm waiting for more! If I wasn't specific enough/ didn't even mention something you would like feedback about, please tell.

For the name dredgers are ships which are used for dredging, clearing waterways of debris to prevent erosion. So filling the grave is like debris entering a waterway, with the effects on grave recovery acting as the actual dredging process. The levels are mainly going to be 4 with a few 3s, and possible a level 5 or two if I can get enough inspiration, so it should come together better later. Fall of the Dredger I decided to make fairly powerful as it is the only archetypal trap that have, though depending on how good a pure build could be I don't think it could rack up a very high amount. I'll need to test after the archetype is complete with both a pure and a build with another engine. I would have the attack up but I don't have any of the card data. I think Fline was 1600-1800 ATK and 1200 DEF, with Difine at around 1000 each, possibly high DEF. I'll have them updated tomorrow.
