"Engraved armament" Archetype

Trying to create this archetype my biggest problem was that multiple other people already used "Runic/Rune/etc." in their Archetypes, so I went with this instead :P

 

The idea was a "pure monster" archetype. Well... they have a field spell. And a continuous trap. But that's just so I have 1 card for all the zones (not doing pendulums).

If this card is summoned: You can equip it with 1 "ancient engraved" card from your hand or Graveyard.

Once per turn: You can equip this card with 1 "ancient engraved" card on your side of the field.

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; add 1 "ancient engrav" card from your Graveyard to your hand.

Frei, Reforger of engraved armaments

Fire ****

Spellcaster/ tuner/ Effect

If this card is summoned: You can equip it with 1 "ancient engraved" card from your hand or Graveyard.

Once per turn: You can equip this card with 1 "ancient engraved" card on your side of the field.

Once per turn: You can shuffle 1 "ancient engrav" card from your field into your deck; special summon 1 "ancient engrav" monster from your deck.

Ancient engraved armament - Hanzai

Fire ****

Rock/ Effect

If you reveal 1 monster card during the Main Phase, based on that cards Attribute, once during this turn you can:
- LIGHT or DARK: Destroy 1 card on the field.
- FIRE or WATER: Deal 500 damage to your opponent.
- WIND or EARTH: Let your opponent discard 1 random card.

You can only activate 1 copy of each of these effects of this card per turn.

Ancient engraved armament - Boen

Water ****

Rock/ Effect

If you reveal 1 monster card during the Battle Phase, based on that cards Attribute, once during this turn you can:
- LIGHT or DARK: Prevent the destruction of a card.
- FIRE or WATER: Gain 500 LP
- WIND or EARTH: Draw 1 card.

You can only activate 1 copy of each of these effects of this card per turn.

Ancient engraved armament - Ken

Wind ****

Rock/ Effect

If you reveal 1 monster card during the Battle Phase, based on that cards Attribute, a card this card is equipped to is changed to face-up Attack Position and:
- LIGHT or DARK: Gains 1000 ATK
- FIRE or WIND: Can attack each monster your opponent controls once.
- WATER or EARTH: Gains 500 ATK each time it attacks.

(Each of these effects applies until your next Standby Phase, and is not applied if a copy of it already applies.)

If you reveal 1 monster card during the Main Phase, based on that cards Attribute, a card this card is equipped to is changed to face-up Defence Position and:
- LIGHT or DARK: Gains 1000 DEF
- FIRE or WIND: Must be attacked by your opponents monsters, if they are able.
- WATER or EARTH: Gains 500 DEF each time it is attacked.

(Each of these effects applies until your next Standby Phase, and is not applied if a copy of it already applies.)

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; add 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. The effects of a card which this card is equipped to cannot be negated. Once per turn: You can equip a card which this card is equipped to with 1 FIRE or WIND "ancient engrav" Monster Card from your hand, then if that card is still on the field during your next Standby Phase: Destroy it.

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; add 1 Level 4 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. The effects of a card(s) which is equipped to a card this card is equipped to cannot be negated. Once per turn: You can equip a card which this card is equipped to with 1 WATER or EARTH "ancient engrav" Monster Card from your hand, then if that card is still on the field during your next Standby Phase: Destroy it.

This card's Attribute is also treated as that of any Monster Card it is equipped with.

Once per turn for each card this card is equipped with: You can prevent the destruction of a card(s) on the field with an imprinted Attribute that this card does not have as Attribute.

If this card is Synchro Summoned; shuffle your entire hand and Graveyard into the Deck, then draw 6 cards.
Once per turn: You can equip this card with 1 "ancient engraved" card from your hand or side of the field.
This card gains 1000 ATK x the number of Monster cards with different Attributes revealed in your hand.

Spell/ Field

This card treated as a level 4 EARTH and WATER and FIRE and WIND Warrior-Type Normal Monster with 0 ATK and 0 DEF while its is in your Deck or Graveyard, but it cannot be summoned (this effect can neither be negated nor ignored). While this is the only face-up card whose imprinted card type is not "Monster" you control, it is immune to card effects (except its own). Once per turn: You can add 1 Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.  If a card whose imprinted card type is not "Monster" is activated on your side of the field: Destroy this card.

This card treated as a level 4 LIGHT and DARK Spellcaster-Type Normal Monster with 0 ATK and 0 DEF while its is in your Deck or Graveyard, but it cannot be summoned (this effect can neither be negated nor ignored). While this is the only face-up card whose imprinted card type is not "Monster" you control, it is immune to card effects (except its own). Once per turn: You can add 1 Rock-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.  If a card whose imprinted card type is not "Monster" is activated on your side of the field: Destroy this card.

 

 

 

 


 

I had an idea and followed it through. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

- 1 or more: This card cannot be destroyed by battle.

- 3 or more: This card is unaffected by the effects of (other) Trap cards.

- 5 or more: This card is unaffected by the effects of (other) Spell Cards.

- 6: This card is unaffected by the effects of (other) Monster Cards.

 

Both players must play with their hands revealed. Cards on the field are unaffected by the effects of cards with a card type (Monster, Spell, Trap) that their controllers opponent has revealed in their hand, except this effect.

This card cannot be destroyed by the effects of, or battle with, cards with a card type (Monster, Spell, Trap) that you have not revealed in your hand.

This card gains 1000 ATK x the number of Monster cards with different Attributes in your hand. During your End Phase, discard 2 cards OR destroy this card, then shuffle your Graveyard into your Deck, then draw 2 cards.

 

While this card remains face up on the field, "Ancient engraved ar" cards on your side of the field cannot be destroyed by either attacks or effects, except "Ancient engraved armament - Omega". The effects of a card(s) which is equipped to a card this card is equipped to cannot be negated, except this effect.

 

While this card remains face up on the field, "Ancient engraved ar" cards on your side of the field cannot be targeted by either attacks or effects, except "Ancient engraved armament - Alpha". The effects of a card which this card is equipped to cannot be negated.
