Guest BGMCANN0N
Crowd ControlContinuous Spell While a player controls more monsters than their opponent, their opponent's monsters cannot be destroyed by battle and any battle damage their opponent takes is halved. You can only control 1 face-up "Crowd Control".
Arimetal
Question: If you control 2 of these, is the damage cut in half twice?
Guest BGMCANN0N
Good question... With current effect: yes. So the damage would be be quartered.
Arimetal
Ok, so it slows down the game if it stays out... A LOT. I would add a clause stating you can only control 1. I would also make it have some sort of cost
Guest BGMCANN0N
Fair suggestion... Though I miss a slower paced Yu-gi-oh (especially since the ongoing adversity of the Pendulum era): I get where you are coming from. We don't want a game at the speed of nearly dried molasses trudging on sandpaper. I'll comply.
Yuuji Kazami
Good question... With current effect: yes. So the damage would be be quartered. And with three copies, the damage would be sixteenth. Use Damage Diet, and it'll be in 32th of the damage. It seems okay, but maybe change it with the restriction of Damage Diet in the sense that you can't halve the same damage per turn. I mean, this is pretty much setting your opponent up for a headache when they have to divide the damage by 32 if the conditions were set above. It's funny to troll, but the design would be lacking in this area. It's good for slowing down fast, swarming Decks atleast. The damage halving is also quite helpful. EDIT: There's ways to remove the card in the meta, but if we're talking about casual, then this card really slows down the game too much.
