Fluffyfish
If you are unaware, Syrus/Sho uses a deck that sounds actually decent in the Gxmanga. And there is a duel with him against Manjoume (Chazz) which I'm actually quite fond of, in which he uses 3 different Solidroids, which are the monsters I'm trying to recreate here. The Solidroid monsters are Summoned from the Extra Deck by using 3 specific Roid monsters and sending them to the Graveyard (from hand or field) or banishing them from Grave (each way to Summon creates a different Solidroid monster). The monsters required to summon them are different in the manga, but I thought it would be easier to just create different Roids for them (the cards here work by their specific names, so no direct Speedroid support). [spoiler=Solidroids]CamouflroidLevel 2 - EARTH - Machine/Effect - 500/2000If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned this way: Machine-type monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent Spell/Trap effects until the end of this turn. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can send 1 "Quickroid" or 1 "Assaultroid" from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Camouflroid" once per turn. QuickroidLevel 3 - WIND - Machine/Effect - 1300/1100If you control no other monsters: You can return this card from your field to the hand; add 1 "Camouflroid" or 1 "Assaultroid" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. If you activate this effect, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Solidroid" monsters. You can only use this effect of "Quickroid" once per turn. During either player's turn, if this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish this card; all machine-type monsters you currently control gain 500 ATK and DEF until the end of this turn. AssaultroidLevel 4 - FIRE - Machine/Effect - 1700/1400Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; negate its effects until the end of this turn. You can discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 "Camouflroid" or 1 "Assaultroid" from your Deck or Graveyard. You cannot Special Summon monsters during the turn you activate this effect, except machine-type monsters. You can only use this effect of "Assaultroid" once per turn. Solidroid α - Turbo CombinationLevel 7 - WIND - Machine/Fusion/Effect - 2600/1800"Camouflroid" + "Quickroid" + "Assaultroid"Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards from your hand to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. (You do not use "Polymerization"). When this card is Special Summoned: It gains ATK equal to the ATK of the monster your opponent controls with the highest ATK, until the end of this turn. If this card battles, your opponent cannot activate card or effects until the end of the Damage Step. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it. You can only control 1 "Solidroid" monster. Solidroid β - Stealth CombinationLevel 7 - EARTH - Machine/Fusion/Effect - 2500/1900"Camouflroid" + "Quickroid" + "Assaultroid"Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by banishing the above cards from your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. (You do not use "Polymerization"). When this card is Special Summoned: Destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if a card or effect is activated that targets this face-up card: You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. You can only control 1 "Solidroid" monster. Solidroid γ - Strike CombinationLevel 7 - FIRE - Machine/Fusion/Effect - 2700/2000"Camouflroid" + "Quickroid" + "Assaultroid"Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. (You do not use "Polymerization"). Cannot be destroyed by card effects. When this card is Special Summoned: Destroy all Spell/Trap cards your opponent controls. Once per turn, if this card battles a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: Its ATK becomes double its original ATK during damage calculation only. You can only control 1 "Solidroid" monster. Solid FormationSpell/NormalAdd 1 "Camouflroid", 1 "Quickroid" or 1 "Assaultroid" from your Deck to your hand. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; return 1 "Camouflroid", 1 "Quickroid" and 1 "Assaultroid" banished or in your Graveyard to the Deck, and if you do, draw 1 card. Solid Combination ChangeSpell/Quick-PlayTarget 1 "Solidroid" monster you control; return it to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon 1 "Solidroid" monster from your Extra Deck with a different name than the returned monster's, ignoring its summoning conditions. You can only activate 1 "Solid Formation Change" per turn. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 of your banished "Camouflroid", "Quickroid" or "Assaultroid"; add it to your hand. Roid's Solid ChargeTrap/NormalIf you control no monsters: Target 1 "Camouflroid", 1 "Quickroid" and 1 "Assaultroid" banished or in your Graveyard; Special Summon them, and if you do, they cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects until the end of this turn. You can only activate 1 "Roid's Solid Charge" per turn. If you activate this card, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except "Solidroid" monsters, for the rest of this turn. As is, I'm unsure if they have enough to work in a standalone deck (too few cards), but they can probably work well as an engine or a sub-strategy for a deck. Although I'm also worried because they have a bunch of search/recycling to help the engine, but I think its balanced properly overall.Well, you can judge that yourself. Hope you liked them, see ya.
