Junk Raver
[align=center]^_^ Well Then As i am sure you all or at least those members with sense will agree That the Realistic Cards Section needs a Rules Upgrade. This thread is a Temp sticky, it will be up until the following is completed; I am tonight and tomorrow remaking / upgrading the Realistic Cards Rules. Old rules will be in place but new ones are coming into effect, and this thread is to make you aware of the new rules. ^_^[/align] Image Credit Strict Rules This rule was actually sort of instated but not enforced due to 'God Kaze', the rule creator not been active etc. You will now have to credit to the best, of your ability. To show you what i mean... - If you post on your thread, NO Artist credits, No Disclaimer and basically nothing regarding the artists, AT ALL, your cards will be removed and thread LOCKED! - If you simply post on your thread; 'From Google' or 'From Photobucket', your cards will be removed until you can provide Links to the artwork, if however the artwork you used is old and you have since forgot the original artists / links, you MUST state so or your cards will be removed. And, if you continue to ignore credit rules, in a row, you will be reported and hopefully, you will be banned ^_^ These rules go for any cards posted after the new rules are officially up. These rules should soothe the image credit situation and also stop comments like 'credit the artists' etc.etc. NO ATTACHMENTS You must post your cards using IMG tags, if not your thread will be instantly LOCKED, you will also be notified of a thread which helps you learn to use IMG tags. This will stop people not understanding IMG tags This will stop comments like 'use IMG tags' etc. This will allow better viewing and rating for members. Either Learn or Do not Bother Are you tired of seeing cards in this section with awful OCG and general writing?? Yes?? Good, cos i am putting a stop to it, the very bad ones i mean. Too long have we had to see cards with effect text like; 'this monster can use arrows to shoot the opponent and deal 800 damage' 'this card losses 500 attack and 1000 defencee for every card in the grave. remove from grave to out of play zone two cards from hand per your turn' Basically, any cards with words like 'grave' or seriously wrong wrong wrong OCG will be moved straight away to the 'Other Cards Section' as its clearly not realistic... Do not worry though, its very bad cards that will be moved only, so if your not brilliant at OCG or grammar its ok, but if you use seriously wrong terms or just complete nonsense it will be moved. Now they for now are the only new rules that will be coming into effect, if you dont like them then do not post, simple, as! I have used strict rules and treatment in 'card contests' and it has worked a charm, spam has been depleted almost and it now runs alot smoother, realistic cards will get the same treatment. Myself and browarod will enforce the new rules, and jerry will also, when hes on. New rules will be up in like a day >> Dj Osiris + The Mod Crew << ^_^
Chevalier
Are you tired of seeing cards in this section with awful OCG and general writing??Good' date=' cos i am putting a stop to it, the very bad ones i mean.[/quote'] Finally! This purging will be more ravenous than the Black Plague with all the new and unfortunately, bad, threads being made. I've noticed that any thread with the words "Awesome," "The Best," "Amazing," or anything that isn't humble in the slightest, turns out to be the exact opposite and isn't close to those terms at all. This will be a huge relief.
SushiTheLegend
Indeed...Dj I suggest me and you like start working together on this whole enforcement of rules, for both the cards section and the GFX section.

Junk Raver
Thanx for your views everyone Sushi, we new Moderators alltogether should discuss rule enforcement, this site needs a turn around and we are the ones to do it, perhaps a thread in the Mod forum about it would be a good idea. Guest JoshIcy
what if people use the img tag off their attachment? is that ok?
Junk Raver
Come again?? Basically the only cards allowed on threads are those either uploaded via the card maker or IMG tag images from tinypic / imageshack / photobucket etc. attachment cards or small thumbnails will not be allowed. SushiTheLegend
On a side note, I think that perhaps YCMaker should add some sort of notice on the Card Maker that actually says exactly what to do after you've made your card, might seriously clear up a lot of the problems tbh. Junk Raver
Yes actually i had that thought earlier too, as unless you either read YCMakers post or click by accident, you wont know about the upload card thing.
SushiTheLegend
You guys also need to sort some of these stickied threads out too...and we need some word meanings too...such as OCG and the likes.

Grayall
Emm, DJ Osiris, when mouse is on the card, the Javascript command is writed in left-under corner. But yeah, some notice would be good. Screenshot
Junk Raver
Javascript, what on earths that? I daresay i failed ICT at school (due to bad teaching) therefore if your experiencing any technical difficulties seek out higher sources then myself. Are you saying something is wrong with YCMaker's instant card uploader?
Grayall
No, its nothing bad with it.Also, i think you are 2 times older than me. I say that it appear, if it could be uploaded to Image Shack, like it really does. Its command, like that, when you would load this thread you see Downloading picture (??? pictures left) or something like that. I dont know, how it is with Firefox and Opera and other, but in Internet Explorer 7.0, i see it. Javascript is action source code, or smth like that. Yes actually i had that thought earlier too, as unless you either read YCMakers post or click by accident, you wont know about the upload card thing. That is answer to this. Kizzi
So, can I just credit the artist on the card without linking to the actual piece of art?

Junk Raver
Kizzi, if you know the artist you must provide a link basically. if you dont know the artist then a disclaimer and a valid reason is needed.
