If this card has "Grenosaurus" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.

* When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and remains on the field: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; inflict damage to you opponent equal to the destroyed monsters original Atk.

Normally, in a CXyz monster's case, they don't retain their original name with just the "CXyz" part added to the beginning of their name but get a tweaked name to fit with their dark chaosified form

 

But other than that, I can't really see that this would get much play. There are far better Rank 3's that you'd much rather play besides Grenosaurus, even if this card was a thing. And being that it must attack to activate its effect makes it a target for cards like Mirror Force and other battle centered Traps
