Inspired by my 3.5 months old post: Elemental HERO Contact Fusion Monsters ( http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/352128-elemental-hero-contact-fusion-monsters-support-cards/ ).

I always liked the HERO archetype. But the more I played the meta, the more I realized how bad their old Fusions were. So here is the new HERO Archetype, the Advanced HEROs.

-" Advanced HERO Mizuman" can no longer use its Graveyard effect to search another copy of it.

- "Advanced HERO Yamiman" can no longer use its Graveyard effect to SS another copy of it from your Graveyard.

- "Advanced HERO Hikariman" can no longer use its Graveyard effect to SS itself or another copy of it when it's banished.

- "Advanced HERO Yochiman" can no longer use its field effect to Normal Summon another copy of it in addition to your Normal Summon/Set, and can no longer use its Graveyard effect to SS another copy of it from your hand.

- "Advanced HERO Fusion" now Fusion Summons using at least 1 monster from your field instead of the entire field without restrictions, and its Graveyard effect now only uses monsters from your field instead of the entire field as Fusion Materials.

- The Graveyard effect of "Advanced HERO Fusion" now Fusion Summons using only monsters from "your field" instead of "the field".

- "Advanced HERO Draw" can no longer discard another copy of it to activate its effect.

- OCG Fixes.

-Removed alot of the limitations mentioned above from the card's effects to make the Deck more consistent.

-Changed the limitation from the effect of "Advanced HERO Yamiman" from itself to "Advanced HERO Hikariman".

-The second effect of "Advanced HERO Shilord" is now a non-targeting effect.

-The second effect of "Advanced HERO Shilord" can now return any card your opponent controls to the hand, not just face-up cards.

Hikariman: The idea of returning banished Hero monsters to the Deck seems a bit weird, as the Deck can be one of the worst places for cards to be, unless you have a lot of searchers. The fact that it can only be used on Special Summon for such a strange effect is a but if a turn-off, but I guess I’ll need to see the rest of your archetype to make a judgment on this. The float effect is nice, and combined with Miracle Fusion could get back some Heroes you want for more fusions.

Yamiman: Now this on the other hand seems pretty powerful. You could run this a Rank 4 engine in any deck by splashing two in there. I’d make it at the very least unable to SS itself instead of Hikariman, especially since Hikariman’s effect doesn’t seem to be that great. Graveyard effect is decent, though splitting focus between Graveyard and Banished Zone seems a bit overly complicated. I get that Heroes are meant to be more versatile, but I think Kozmos are right to focus on the Banished Zone rather than the Graveyard.

Kaisaman: Basically Blazeman for the archetypal fusion card, goodstuff. Pitching a Hero is great for setup, though glad you kept it archetype specific with all the Hero cards that gain effects from being sent to the Graveyard like Shadowmist or Malicious. The Attribute shenanigans makes me think this is probably going to be focused on a Super Poly mechanic, but we’ll get there when we get there.

Mizuman: Cool stuff, it recycles your fusions and allows you to go +1, or combined with Kaisaman you can search your Fusion card and an Advanced Hero, neat stuff.

Kazeman: A Spell search and dump are pretty nice, not really much else to say.

Yochiman: Built in archetypal Double Summons are nice, and the Graveyard effect for SS is killer, though the only one that seems to benefit off of it is Hikariman.

Advanced HERO Fusion

Called, Super Poly shenanigans. Anyway, untargeting removal is nice stuff, and the reason Super Poly was originally so busted was because of how generic certain Fusions had gotten, like Starve Venom Dragon or Norden. Tieing it to an archetype

is probably the best thing you could do to make it usable. Anyway, that grave effect during either player’s turn is nice, allowing you to dodge targeted effects, and tag into a Hero more suited for the situation, but wish it also included the hand, since it’s going to be hard to get another Hero monster to fuse onto the field before your turn ends, and since it’s shuffled into the deck you can’t use effects that would result from dumping cards. Also, it kind of makes me wish you had a card like Contrast Hero as a boss monster for this archetype.

Advanced HERO Draw: Destiny Draw for Advanced Heroes. Nothing wrong with it, just I think you have enough searching for this Deck to work without it, and I’m a bit tired of seeing these Destiny Draw retrains. That’s just my opinion though, you can keep it as is, it’s not hurting anything by existing.

Advanced Hero Cyclone: This though, did you really need a Twin Twister/Galaxy Cyclone archetypal retrain? I guess the Graveyard effect is good and synergizes well with Kazeman, but this is kind of why I wish Advamced Heroes synergized more with the other Heroes, so you could use stuff like Masked Hero Acid.

Shilord: Oh god, a Castel on summon after probably stealing one of their monsters for your Hero. The non-targeted bounce of any cards for discarding an Advanced HERO also seems a bit strong. As a Blue-Eyes player this card is honestly quite scary. As it is a 2500 ATK monster though, it’s slightly justified.

Shalord: Beelze effect is nice stuff. Targeted destruction isn’t that great, but justified by the DXRD effect. Your probably don’t need that HOPT since it’s only available on Fusion Summon. I mean there might be a loop there, but I doubt it’d be anything game winning.

Inferlord: Burn on summon is nice, and you probably don’t need that attack restriction, just look at Falling Meteor Black Dragon. Though I’d probably make it either deal damage to both of you, or only deal half the damage, as one sided Ring of Destruction isn’t too nice.

Railord: With that name it almost sounds like it’s a part of the train archetype, lol. Anyway, untargeted banishing is cool, but it is making me think all the non-targeting removal you have for the Heroes might be a bit of overkill since you have a Super poly like card. Still a pretty good card to handle the spells or traps your opponent controls.

Torlord: I feel like this an OTK enabler. Assuming you use this to fuse 1 of your opponent’s monsters, and then use this card to return another monster to the hand, this thing could get up to 5500 reasonably. Speaking of, this thing also can basically turn another Fusion monster you control into a 5K beater, which is also a bit ridiculous, but requires more setup.

Rounlord: Targeting protection is nice, and as a floater it’s pretty nice, allowing you to go into Hikariman to recycle one of your banished Heroes. The scratch effect probably shouldn’t target, as it’s not full on removal, and requires a cost. Just my opinion though.

Anyway, these heroes are fine. They have effects that fit their attribute, and I could see them working together for nice plays. I’m a bit disappointed that you didn’t seem to give them much synergy with the other Hero monsters, and much of the effects for the Fusions were just focused on removal or buffing themselves in some manner. They’re certainly good, it’s just a bit disappointing. Dark Law is cool, despite being a nuisance, it has an interesting effect that isn’t about just setting the opponent behind. Maybe a Hero that serves as a floodgate or a wall would be appreciated.
