Face McShooty
Normally I just do a single card each week, but for this week, I decided to do 4 monsters because they all correlate with each other. It takes 5 Invaders to make a Ravager, 5 Ravagers to make a Destroyer, 5 Destroyers to make a Devourer in the game of HellFire, and that's just to make Stage 1 of the Ravager, Destroyer and Devourer. That means it take 500 Invaders to make a Devourer! I'll include each Stage 1-3 arts of each stage. [spoiler=Vortex - Invader]EffectOnce per turn, this monster cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects.Lore In HellFireIn the darkness of it's vanishment, Void dreamt up a creature like no other. A parasite impossible to kill, bred to bring the end of it all. He called it The Invader.Stage 1 ArtStage 2 ArtStage 3 Art [spoiler=Vortex - Ravager]Effect2 "Vortex - Invader"This monster can only be Fusion Summoned using the Fusion Materials listed above. During the Standby Phase after this card destroys a monster by Battle, you can Special Summon 1 "Vortex - Invader" from your Hand, Deck or Graveyard.Lore in HellFireOnce the host is consumed from within, a new beast emerges. The Ravager is born from hatred and greed and it's only goal is to consume everything in it's path.Stage 1 ArtStage 2 ArtStage 3 Art [spoiler=Vortex - Destroyer]Effect1 "Vortex - Ravager" + 1 "Vortex - Invader"This monster can only be Fusion Summoned using the Fusion Materials listed above. If this monster is destroyed by Battle, you can add 1 "Vortex - Invader" from your Deck to your Hand.Lore in HellFireFrom the flesh of The Ravager, The Destroyer emerged; a new predator, a mindless being, perfect and soulless. It can feel the souls around, it is drawn to the villages where the corrupted hearts of men beckon his presence, like crows calling for a storm. There is no way to stop it. It feeds on rage, despair and fear. The perfect system; the more they fight the bigger it gets. The Destroyer is what prophecies foretold, the unstoppable end of which no one can hide from; it is the end of the path, there is nothing after it but ashes and silence.Stage 1 ArtStage 2 ArtStage 3 Art [spoiler=Vortex - Devourer]Effect1 "Vortex - Destroyer" + 1 "Vortex - Invader"This monster can only be Fusion Summoned using the Fusion Materials listed above. As long as this monster is on the field, no other monsters you control can be targeted for attacks or effects.Lore from HellFireOnce The Destroyer fulfilled it's task, The Devourer is born from it's body and feeds off a planet once filled with life turning it into a silent carcass. This is the story of how everything ends, the final move of Void; the entity trying to bring back the silence and peace from before anything existed, and The Devourer is it's ultimate weapon, the colossal hunger, that will consume creation until there is nothing left. In the end, The Devourer will hold everything ever existed inside it's body, crystallized in a single frozen memory of all that ever was, and in time like a memory, it will fade into oblivion.Stage 1 ArtStage 2 ArtStage 3 Art

DiplomatfromPluto
So the Invader has a protection effect, and you fuse 2 into Ravager. Ravager has low ATK for a level 5 monster; it's good to be able to summon Invaders from anywhere if it's not banished, but it's kind of awkward having to wait until the standby phase after it destroys a monster. Even if it does destroy something, that gives your opponent a turn to get rid of it. But say you get one of the first Invaders from the graveyard and you fuse it with Ravager to make Destroyer. 2850 is much better, but it has a less versatile search effect than Ravager, and it only works if the monster is destroyed. That means that either its effect is useless, or you have to let it be destroyed in order to search the third Invader from your deck. You've made 2 fusion summons, after 2 turns at best, and that's only if you get these specific cards in your opening hand, and now you have to let this monster be destroyed to search a monster. But say you ignore its effect (in which case its a hard to summon fusion monster) and you fuse it with another Invader and you get Devourer. It's pretty strong at just under 4k ATK, and it has a really strong protection for both destruction and effects. But you spent a lot of resources to summon it, and you probably won't be able to get another one out before your opponent can get rid of it. Compared to most archetypes in the game right now, these wouldn't last for very long, even against some that aren't meta. But I love fusion monsters. Are these based on any kind of source material? If so, consider how to represent their characteristics in a way that would make the work if they existed as cards in the TCG. You could add more fusion monsters so that maybe 2 Invaders could form a couple of different monsters, which might lead into others. It could look like a tree, where different monsters lead into different chains of fusions, and in the end they would result in making a few strong monsters that serve as a win condition. That way you can still make monsters fuse into others, but there would be more options. They could definitely use more ways to recover the Invaders, which are crucial to your fusions. Making spells and traps is always a good way to give your cards some versatility or protection. You could make some specific fusion spells for them so they have more options than Polymerization. And you could loosen their summoning conditions. As they are, the only way to summon them is by fusion. I think if you changed their text to read "Must first be Fusion Summoned by using the above Fusion Materials listed above" This effect would require you to fusion summon them, but then they could be special summoned from the graveyard. This would make it easier to recur them for your stronger monsters later in the duel.
Face McShooty
The source material is HellFire the Summoning, a mobile game, which I've explained, and I've included the previous stages and Invader can't be used for any other creatures in the game because it takes 5 Invaders to make a Ravager, 5 Ravagers (25 Invaders) to make a Destroyer, 5 Destroyers (125 Invaders, 25 Ravagers) to make a stage 1 Devourer and to get a stage 4 Devourer it takes 500 Invaders
