Powerstroker is an Archetype of Level 7 Psychic-Type/WATER Normal Monsters, as well as 1 Xyz Monster. They focus on Equip Spell Cards, which give the Normal Monsters effects. The Equip Spell Cards are in the support Archetype Powerpaint, and also in the sub-Archetype Powerpaintbrush and each Special Summon a Powerstroker monster from your hand and equips itself to it, which then gives it two effects, though they destroy themselves if you control a non-Psychic-Type monster. There is also another Sub-Archetype, called Powerpainttool, which all are Normal Trap Cards that have two effects, the second which banishes the card from the Graveyard.

The name Powerstoker comes from paint stroke and the monsters are based on various famous artists. They are Psychic-Type to represent them being geniuses and WATER to represent the use of paint. The Powerpaintbrush cards are based on various colors, and their names reference the various stages at which the painter draws, from the beginning to the end, with blue being the beginning and gradually continuing from there.

I dig it! I always find archetypes that are built around Equip Spells, or just Equip Cards in general, to be very interesting. I do however feel the swarming capabilities may need to be toned down a bit, since you could theoretically Special Summon 5 of these monsters from your hand with 5 Equip Spells. Maybe add a can only activate 1 per turn or can only activate if you control no monsters-restriction to the Spells?

Also, I think you should rewrite the Special Summoning effect of the Equip Spells. Since with their current wording they can kinda be treated as a mandatory effect whenever they're activated. Like, if you were to activate 1 with Palette Preservation or Clear Canvas, would that trigger its Special Summoning effect? I would rather the effect read something like: You can reveal this card in your hand: Special Summon 1 "Powerstroke" monster from your hand, and if you do, equip it with this card. The way the Equip Spells are the ones granting the effects to the equipped monster I think you can scrap too. You can just have the Equip Spells say The equipped monster..., or When the equipped monster...

And just an issue I have that's really stupid is that I feel the colours the Equip Spells have in their name should relate to whatever card they grant protection from, like Green should be the one who protects from Spell Cards, Purple should be Traps, and Orange monster effects.

Well having so many in your hand is unlikely since you gotta have 10 cards in your hand and this Archetype will never get that. Also I think the balance comes from the fact that you must Special Sunmon them, they are Normal Monsters you cannot easily Normal Summon etc.

The Equip Spells only do that when activated, equipping them that way would not Special Summon another monster.

Hadn't thought of that with the colors, would totally have done it at the time, but now messing around with that would be confusing
