OddScales - Revisted (8/8)

I'm back and I'm bringing back my good ol' friends; OddScales. I feel like it was something Konami didn't pick up on, even with them seperating the two pendulum colours. But I haven't been keeping up with current card meta, nor new cards, so if they had done this.... then good job Konami.

 

OddScales. The name says it all, but it doesn't tell you it's a Synchro based Pendulum deck with separate scales! Along with a banishing mechanic. But who wants to read this explanation? Lets get onto the cards.

 

[spoiler='Monsters (3)']The most obvious part of the deck, its the things you want to use to get out your Synchro guys!

 

OddScale Lucky - DARK

Level 1 - Pend 3/6

ATK/ 700 DEF/ 1000

Pend Eff:
"When an "OddScale" Pendulum Monster is placed in your Pendulum Zone: you can banish 1 "OddScale" monster from your Deck; draw 1 card."
Monster Eff:

"When this card is Normal Summoned: You can banish 1 "OddScale" monster from your hand; Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower "OddScale" Monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position, but its effects are negated, and it cannot attack, also banish it during the End Phase. You can only use the effect of "OddScale Lucky" once per turn."

OddScale Ratbeast - DARK

Level 5 - Pend 3/6

ATK/ 2200 DEF/ 2000

Pend Eff:

"When this card is activated: you can target 1 of your banished Level 4 or lower "OddScale" Pendulum Monsters; Special Summon that target in Defense Position, but it can't change its battle position, and its DEF becomes 0."

Monster Eff:

"You can Special Summon this card by banishing 1 Level 4 "OddScale" Pendulum Monster you control, and if you do; this card loses 1000 ATK and DEF. If this card is sent to the Graveyard as a Synchro Material for an "OddScale" Synchro Monster; you can banish 1 "OddScale" Pendulum Monster from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "OddScale Ratbeast" once per turn.

OddScale Dust Giant - DARK

Level 7 - Pend 3/8

ATK/ 2600 DEF/ 2000

Pend Eff:

"You can banish 2 "OddScale" Pendulum Monsters from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Level 7 "OddScale" Monster in Attack Position from your hand, but its effects are negated, and it cannot attack."

Monster Eff:

"You can Special Summon this card by banish 1 Level 5 "OddScale" monster, and if you do; it loses 1000 ATK and DEF. You can target 1 "OddScale" monster in your Pendulum Monster: banish that target, you can't Special Summon monsters until the End Phase, other than "OddScale" monsters; Special Summon 1 Level 1 "OddScale" monster in face-up Attack Position from your Deck, but its effects are negated, also destroy it during your next End Phase. You can only use each effect of "OddScale Dust Giant" once per turn, and only once that turn."

When you Pendulum Summon "OddScale" Monster(s): target 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls; return that target to their hand. You can only use each effect of "OddScale Centre" once per turn, and only once that turn."

(fun fact: I accidentally did "to hand", not "to their hand", and I don't have the card image nor card anymore, so it's like that forever!)

Pend Eff:

"When an "OddScale" Pendulum Monster is placed in your Pendulum Zone, other than "OddScalr Ring", you can banish it; destroy 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls."

Monster Eff:

"1 "OddScale" Tuner Monster + 1 or more "OddScale" Non-Tuner Monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned while you control 1 or less cards in your Pendulum Zone; you can place this card  in an unoccupied Pendulum Zone. When this card is destroyed by a card effect of by battle: target 1 of your banished "OddScale" monsters; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. You can only use the effect of "OddScale Ring" once per turn."

OddScale Reaper - DARK

Level 8 - Pend 2/8

ATK/ 2700 DEF/ 1300

Pend Eff:

"You can banish 1 "OddScale" Synchro Monster in your Graveyard: target 1 monster on your Opponents field; banish that target, during the 3rd Standby Phase of this card's activation, your opponent can Special Summon that monster in face-up Attack Position or face-down Defense Position. You can only use the effect of "OddScale Reaper" once per turn."

Monster Eff:

"1 "OddScale" Tuner Monster + 1 or more "OddScale" Non-Tuner Monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned while you control 1 or less cards in your Pendulum Zone; you can place this card in an unoccupied Pendulum Zone. You can banish up to 2 Level 7 or higher "OddScale" monsters you control, and if you do; Special Summon Level 7 "OddScale" Pendulum Monsters from your hand or face-up from your Extra Deck, up to the number of monsters tributed. You can only each effect of "OddScale Reaper" once per turn."

OddScale Volcano - DARK

Pend Eff:

"When this card in the Pendulum Zone is destroyed by your opponents card effect: you can target 1 Spell/Trap on the field; shuffle that card into the deck."

Monster Eff:

"1 "OddScale" Tuner Monster + 1 or more "OddScale" Non-Tuner Monsters

If this card is Synchro Summoned while you control 1 or less cards in your Pendulum Zone; you can place this card in an unoccupied Pendulum Zone. If this card is destroyed by your opponents card effect: target 1 monster on the field; you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of that monsters ATK."
