Recommended Posts

These are some ideas for cards based off Fire Emblem Awakening Characters. I made a full 40-card deck with 10 extras. Take a look and tell me what you think.
EDIT: I completely reorganized the deck so it would be easy to search through the deck... maybe

KNIGHTS OF YLISSE DECK
(x50)
[spoiler=Main & Extra Deck]
MAIN DECK
(x40)
[spoiler=Categories]
LOW-LEVELED MONSTERS
(x19)
[spoiler=Cards]
LISSA, PRINCESS OF YLISSE
LV 3 - ATK/ 500 - DEF/1000 - Spellcaster / Effect / Tuner - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • Lissa is a cleric in FE, so she can heal you or protect you from damage.
  • EDIT: I edited her "field-to-graveyard" effect to kind of match with Maribelle and Olivia
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.

pmYOvvT.jpg

[EFFECT:]

Any damage you would take, the turn this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, is added to your Life Points instead. You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; gain 1000 Life Points, and if you do, destroy 1 Spell/Trap card on your opponent's side of the field. Your opponent cannot activate card effects in response to this effect (this is a Quick Effect).

OLIVIA, ENTERTAINER FOR YLISSE
LV 3 - ATK/ 900 - DEF/ 600 - Warrior / Effect / Tuner - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • Olivia could allow one of your units to take another turn. I did think of the easy effect to give her which was "allosw one monster to attack once again", but I started to think a little bit further and allow you to use a spell/trap that you've already used instead. Is that a better idea?
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.

wKhSaVc.jpg

[EFFECT]

Any damage you would take, the turn this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, your opponent takes instead. You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; gain 1000 Life Points, and if you do, select 1 Spell/Trap card in your Graveyard and set that target on your side of the field. Your opponent cannot activate card effects in response to this effect (this is a Quick Effect).

DONNEL, THE VILLAGER
LV 3 - ATK/1000 - DEF/1000 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details]

  • Donnel, in FE, gains xp and stats REAL fast, so to make it like in the game, he will get stronger each turn. However, to make him a more practical Tuner, I made it so you could reduce his level each turn.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.
  • EDIT: I got rid of him being a Tuner so it would be easier for the user to Synchro Summon some monsters.

hCydC1A.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card is treated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. This monster gains ATK equal to its level x 300. During each of your opponent's Standby Phases, increase this monster's level by 1. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you can lower the level of this card by up to 2 (min. lv. 1).

MARIBELLE, DUCHESS OF YLISSE
LV 3 - ATK/1100 - DEF/ 400 - Spellcaster / Effect / Tuner - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • Maribelle is a troubadour in FE, so she also can heal you or protect you from damage. I just wanted to give her a different effect than Lissa.
  • EDIT: I made the card effect a little more specific, so you couldn't just special summon ANY "Ylisse" monster.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.
  • EDIT: I specified her hand-to-graveyard effect because of how OP "Lucina" is.

RTfoBro.jpg

[EFFECT:]

Monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects the turn this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard. You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; gain 1000 Life Points, and if you do, Special Summon 1 level 5 or lower "Ylisse" monster from your Graveyard except "Maribelle, Duchess of Ylisse". Your opponent cannot activate card effects in response to this effect (this is a Quick Effect).

SUMIA, PEGASUS KNIGHT OF YLISSE
LV 3 - ATK/1600 - DEF/ 700 - Warrior / Effect / Tuner - Wind
[spoiler=Details]

  • Sumia is a Pegasus knight in FE. I thought of making her a Beast-Warrior-type monster, but Sumia's not the beast, she just rides a beast. IDK, would it make more sense if she was a Beast-Warrior. Given this kind of deck, it would probably be more helpful that she's a Warrior, so let's keep it at that. She's also REALLY helpful for Synchro monsters.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.

RHKBO4q.jpg

[EFFECT]

While this monster is face-up on the field, other "Knight of Ylisse" monsters cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, if a "Knight of Ylisse" monster you control would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed. If this monster is used as Synchro Material, the Synchro Summoned monster cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects.

CHROM, PRINCE OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1400 - DEF/ 800 - Warrior / Effect - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • Regular old Chrom... Chrom and Robin are the dream team. They are probably the best units in the game when paired with each other. So, while you don't have the stronger Chrom card in your hand, this Chrom still gets a boost for having Robin on the field.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.

A4Wc3VN.jpg

[EFFECT:]

If this monster was Normal or Special Summoned, if you control a face-up "Robin the Tactician Magician", you can Tribute this card and Special Summon "Exalted Prince Chrom" from your hand. You can only use this effect once per turn. While "Robin, the Tactician Maician" is on the field, this monster gains 1000 ATK and DEF.

LAURENT, WIND MAGE OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1500 - DEF/1000 - Spellcaster / Effect - Wind
[spoiler=Details]

  • Laurent is the son of Miriel, and is using wind magic which is weaker but more defensive than fire and thunder magic.

ChPPCGK.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card is treated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. If you control another WIND "Tactician Magician" or "Ylisse" monster with a different name, and your opponent controls no WIND monsters, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand or Graveyard. When this monster is Special Summoned, target 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls; place it at the bottom of his/her deck. While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot add Spell/Trap cards from the deck to their hand.

SULLY, CAVALIER OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1500 - DEF/1300 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
STAHL, CAVALIER OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1500 - DEF/1300 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details for Both]

  • Sully and Stahl in FE are best when paired up with each other, so they gain ATK when the other one is out. Also, they both share a deck search/special summon effect, indicated by the color of the text (red for Sully and green for Stahl). Just to clarify, Sully CAN Special Summon herself from the Graveyard since it doesn't say "1 other" or "except this card"
  • I changed their treated name so that they'd me more versatile.

0svjuLQ.jpgMh3lu6F.jpg

[EFFECT:]

This card is terated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. If you control a face-up ["Stahl, Cavalier of Ylisse" / "Sully, Cavalier of Ylisse"], this monster gains 500 ATK. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can [Special Summon 1 "Cavalier of Ylisse" monster from your hand or Graveyard / add 1 "Cavalier of Ylisse" monster from your deck or Graveyard to your hand].

VIRION, BOW KNIGHT OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1500 - DEF/2000 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details]

  • Virion is an Archer, a Sniper, a Bow Knight. He has decent Defense, and high Skill, which is why he can direct hit.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.

yi3E9Gs.jpg

[EFFECT:]

If you control no "Ylisse" monsters, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. This monster can attack your opponent's life points directly. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can special summon 1 other "Ylisse" monster from your Graveyard.

MIRIEL, FIRE MAGE OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1600 - DEF/ 800 - Spellcaster / Effect - Fire
[spoiler=Details]

  • I know she's not specifically a fire mage, but i don't care. Miriel and the other two elemental mages on this list all have similar effects. The reason they're not grouped together like Sully and Stahl is because their ATK and DEF are different from each other.

3lu2LLF.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card is treated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. If you control another FIRE "Tactician Magician" or "Ylisse" monster with a different name, and your opponent controls no FIRE monsters, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand or Graveyard. When this monster is Special Summoned, target and destroy 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls. While this card is face-up on the field, you opponent cannot add Spell/Trap cards from their Graveyard to their hand or deck.

RICKEN, THUNDER MAGE OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1700 - DEF/ 700 - Spellcaster / Effect - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • Ricken is using Thunder magic, here which is why he's a bit stronger than Miriel. His effect is similar to Miriel.

aad8vUW.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card is treated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. If you control another LIGHT "Tactician Magician" or "Ylisse" monster with a different name, and your opponent controls no LIGHT monsters, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand or Graveyard. When this monster is Special Summoned, declare 1 type of card (Spell or Trap), your opponent reveals his or her hand and discards all cards of the declared type. While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot set Spell/Trap cards from his or her hand.

CORDELIA, FALCON KNIGHT OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1700 - DEF/1100 - Warrior / Effect - Wind
[spoiler=Details]

  • Cordelia is another flying unit in FE. I wanted to give her sort of an "Air Superiority" effect to where she'd gain ATK for having wind Knights on your field/graveyard.

8kwQu7U.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card gains 100 ATK and DEF for each WIND "Ylisse" monster on your side of the field or in your Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, other WIND "Knight of Ylisse" monsters you control inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent.

ANNA, THE TRAVELLING MERCHANT
LV 4 - ATK/1700 - DEF/1900 - Warrior / Effect / Tuner - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Anna is a merchant and a real slick saleswoman. She's also Mr. Krabbs, and she can bribe you into anything. Here, I made it so she "bribes" the opponent into halting their attack, as well as having the greed of drawing an extra card. Also, since she allows you a second card during your draw phase, this could be dangerous to BOTH the user and the opponent if you had multiples out. Therefore, I made it so you could only have 1 on the field at a time. I might be able to balance it by lowering the hand limit or BANISHING the discarded cards instead of sending them to the Graveyard. Let me know what you think the better idea is.
  • EDIT: I changed her effect to have a more harmful effect when she leaves the field, since drawing an extra card per turn can be a b**ch for the opponent and because it's like Anna is bribing the user. Now, when you draw an extra card, you pay for it when she leaves the field. It's a REAL "Dark Bribe"... lol
  • EDIT: I made the defect more detrimental, but I also gave her a perk because she's not THAT strong by herself.

RVcDPzg.jpg

[EFFECT]

When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, draw 1 card. While this card is face-up on the field, during each of your Draw Phases, draw 1 more card and place 1 Bribe Counter on this card. This card gains ATK equal to the number of Bribe Counters attached to this card x 100. When this card leaves the field, banish cards from the top of your deck, face-down, equal to the number of Bribe Counters that were on this card. When an opponent's monster declares an attack, you can banish 1 card from the top of your deck; remove 1 Bribe Counter from this card and negate the attack. You can only control 1 "Anna, the Travelling Merchant".

GAIUS THE YLISSEAN THIEF
LV 4 - ATK/1800 - DEF/ 600 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details]

  • Gaius is a thief, plain and simple.

izk5of8.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card is treated as an "Ylisse" monster. If this monster is attacked while it is in Defense Position, after the Damage Step, equip this card to the attacking monster as an Equip Spell card. Take control of the equipped monster and negate its effects. If this card is destroyed while it is equipped to a monster, the equipped monster is also destroyed. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead. If this monster is destroyed while in Attack Position, randomly discard 1 card from your opponent's hand.

MASKED MARTH
LV 4 - ATK/1800 - DEF/1200 - Warrior / Effect - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • It's Luci....*cough**cough**groan**cough* Marth, of which you can only have 1 on the field.

tkG3K8S.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card's name is treated as "Marth". When this monster is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 "Chrom, Prince of Ylisse" or "Exalted Prince Chrom" from your deck to your hand. When this monster battles a Dragon- or Fiend-type monster, destroy the targeted monster after the Damage Step. You can only control 1 face-up "Marth" monster.

FREDERICK, GREAT KNIGHT OF YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1800 - DEF/2000 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details]

  • Freddy D's like a general in the military, calling out soldiers when the situation calls for it.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture and edited its effect because of my edits with "Sully" and "Stahl". I also made it so you couldn't Xyz Summon if you activate his effect.
  • EDIT: I just realized something after making Lucina's DEF 1200 and Freddy's 1000... there's no way Freddy would have less DEF than Lucina when at the same level, and I wasn't going to make her DEF lower, so I made Freddy'e higher... like REAL high, for a lv 4 anyway.

Q7RNbGI.jpg

[EFFECT:]

When this monster is Normal or Special Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Knight of Ylisse" monster from your hand or deck, except "Frederick, Great Knight of Ylisse". You cannot Xyz Summon the turn this effect is activated.

LON'QU, ASSASSIN FOR YLISSE
LV 4 - ATK/1900 - DEF/1700 - Warrior / Effect - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Lon'qu is an assassin and can kill an enemy in one hit no matter how much attack power he has. He'll also take any monster that kills him down with him.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.

rwqTLyj.jpg

[EFFECT]

If you control an "Ylisse" monster that was summoned from the Extra Deck, when this monster attacks an opponent's monster whose ATK is higher than this monster (this monster is not destroyed by this battle), destroy that monster after the Damage Step without applying damage calculation. If this monster is destroyed by battle from an opponent's monster's attack, destroy the attacking monster after the Damage Step.

VAIKE THE BERSERKER
LV 4 - ATK/2300 - DEF/ 0 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details]

  • Vaike lost his axe, and he's also Goblin Attack Force, with a second effect.

RLrGIYP.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card is treated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. This monster cannot attack the turn it is Summoned. When this monster attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. If this Defense Position monster is destroyed by battle by an opponent's monster, your opponent takes damage equal to the attacking monster's ATK.

MID-LEVELED MONSTERS
(x6)
[spoiler=Cards]
SAY'RI, PRINCESS OF CHON'SIN
LV 5 - ATK/ ? - DEF/ ? - Warrior / Effect - Water
[spoiler=Details]

  • Say'ri is a princess from another country that joins the group on their missions as part of their ranks. I kind of improvised with the effect, though.

xQLRhiC.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card is treated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. If there are 4 or less "Knight of Ylisse" monsters in your Graveyard, this monster's level is reduced by 1 while it is in your hand or on the field. This monster's ATK and DEF are equal to the number of "Knight of Ylisse" monsters in your Graveyard x 400.

KELLAM, KNIGHT OF YLISSE
LV 5 - ATK/1700 - DEF/3000 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details]

  • Kellam is a tank and also invisible to the world around him, apparently.
  • EDIT: I changed his picture and upped his DEF so he really IS a tank.

ZA6WnLl.jpg

[EFFECT:]

If this monster was Special Summoned, it cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. When this Defense Position monster is attacked by an opponent's monster, destroy the attacking monster after the Damage Step. While this monster is in face-up Attack Position, it cannot be targeted for an attack. If this monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Kellam, Knight of Ylisse" from your deck, in face-up Attack Position.

REFLET THE TACTICIAN MAGICIAN GIRL
LV 5 - ATK/2000 - DEF/1700 - Spellcaster / Effect - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Dark Magician girl, but with a twist. She still gains ATK for "Tactician Musician" cards in your graveyard, but since she's Robin, she can gain Male Robin's effect.
  • EDIT: I changed her name to "Reflet the Tactician Magician Girl" because (1) Reflet is what they call Robin in the Japanese version of the game (for both the male AND female), and (2) I didn't want Reflet to be the only monster without a 1st name in the card list.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.

MdBbBGJ.jpg

[EFFECT:]

This monster gains 200 ATK and DEF for each "Tactician Magician" or "Magician Girl" card in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can target 1 "Robin, the Tactician Magician" you control, whose attribute is different than this card. This monster's attribute becomes the current attribute of the that target. If the targeted monster is destroyed by battle or by an opponent's card effect, this monster's original effect is replaced with that of the selected monster.

PANNE, THE LAST TAGUEL
LV 5 - ATK/2100 - DEF/2000 - Beast-Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details]

  • Panne is a shapeshifter in FE, so I made her Beast-Warrior-type. However, I couldn't really think of an effect that would fit any trait she has, so I just improvised with her effect.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.

5OipRKB.jpg

[EFFECT]

This monster is treated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. If this monster is Special Summoned from your hand, deck, or Graveyard by the effect of an "Ylisse" monster, this card gains ATK equal to the that monster's ATK. If this monster is used as Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, or Xyz material (for the Special Summon of the respective type of monster), add 1 "Ylisse" monster from your deck to your hand whose ATK is less than the Special Summoned monster.

CHERCHE, WYVERN KNIGHT OF YLISSE
LV 5 - ATK/2100 - DEF/2100 - Warrior / Effect - Wind
[spoiler=Details]

  • Cherche is a Wyvern Rider in FE, but I renamed it "Wyvern Knight" so it would go with the Archetype. Now, the effect that makes all opponent's monsters dragons is to (1) give this monster some ATK to handle your opponent, but also allow the stronger "Exalted Prince Chrom" to battle your opponent's monsters even if they own no Dragons.

QzMO2yB.jpg

[EFFECT]

If you control another Dragon-type or WIND "Ylisse" or "Tactician Magician" monster, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. While this card is face-up on the field, all monsters your opponent controls become Dragon-type monsters. Increase this monster's ATK and DEF by 500 for each Dragon-type monster your opponent controls.

GREGOR THE MERCENARY
LV 5 - ATK/2200 - DEF/1500 - Warrior / Effect - Earth
[spoiler=Details]

  • Gregor is more-or-less Nowi's body guard and best friend, so yeah.

RjZQpVW.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card is treated as a "Knight of Ylisse" monster. This monster can be used as Xyz material for the Xyz Summon of "Nowi, Ylisse's Manakete". When this card is detached from "Nowi, Ylisse's Manakete" because of its effect, Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. You cannot Xyz Summon the turn this monster was Special Summoned by this effect.

HIGH-LEVELED MONSTERS
(x4)
[spoiler=Cards]
MORGAN THE TACTICIAN MAGICIAN KID
LV 8 - ATK/2300 - DEF/2100 - Spellcaster / Effect - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Morgan is Robin's son/daughter and is basically an over-powered version of Robin.

HkYXFal.jpg

[EFFECT]

Once per turn, if you control 2 "Tactician Magician" monsters with different names, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand or Graveyard. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can target one "Tactician Magician" monster you control; until the End Phase, this monster's attribute and effect become the same as that target. When another "Tactician Magician" you control is destroyed by your opponent (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard, increase this monster's ATK by the ATK of the destroyed monster.

ROBIN THE TACTICIAN MAGICIAN
LV 8 - ATK/2400 - DEF/2000 - Spellcaster / Effect - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Robin uses tomes and swords in Fire Emblem, so I made it so that you could choose the "Weapon he uses". Choosing LIGHT is like equipping Thunder magic, which has high critical chance. FIRE magic does more guaranteed damage. WIND magic gives him more mobility/speed to dodge traps/spells, get it? And EARTH is like him using a sword.
  • EDIT: I changed his ATK to be a LOT higher, and also increased his level so that he could be used with Chrom to summon a good Xyz monster.

8aClOkG.jpg

[EFFECT:]

When this monster is Normal or Special Summoned, declare one of the following attributes; this monster's attribute becomes the declared one and gains that effect:

  • LIGHT: When this monster attacks, toss 2 coins. If both are heads, this monster gains 1000 ATK until the end of the Damage Step. When this monster is attacked, toss 3 coins. If all are heads, this monster's ATK becomes 4800 until the end of the Battle Phase.
  • FIRE: This monster's original ATK and DEF become 3000 and 2500, respectively.
  • EARTH: When this monster defeats a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing damage.
  • WIND: This monster is unaffected by card effects during the Battle Phase.

EXALTED PRINCE CHROM
LV 8 - ATK/2800 - DEF/2300 - Warrior / Effect - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • Chrom carries the Exalted Falchion later on in the game, so this is like that upgrade. It also can easily beat dragons or fiends.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.
  • EDIT: Chrom is supposed to be stronger than Lucina when he gains the Exalted Falchion, so I gave him Lucina's immunity to Dragon and Fiend effects.

loCeeOh.jpg

[EFFECT:]

This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You must first Special Summon this monster by Tributing "Chrom, Prince of Ylisse" while you control "Robin the Tactician Magician". This monster is treated as an "Ylisse" monster. Unaffected by the effects of Dragon- and Fiend-type monsters. When this monster battles a Dragon- or Fiend-type monster, this monster gains 800 ATK and DEF until the end of the Damage Step. This monster inflicts piercing Battle Damage.

LUCINA, FUTURE PRINCESS OF YLISSE
LV 8 - ATK/3000 - DEF/2800 - Warrior / Effect - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • Lucina is Marth, is from the future, and is Chrom's daughter. I thought I might give her a pretty OP effect. While on the field with "Cherche", she might as well be "Exodia". You just gotta keep "Cherche" alive. She's unaffected by dragon and fiend effects and can't be destroyed by battle against dragons and fiends.
  • EDIT: I made it so that this monster could still deal damage if it attacks a weaker Dragon of Fiend than it.

h5wKtMp.jpg

[EFFECT]

This card's name is treated as "Marth" while it is on the field or in the Graveyard. If you control "Exalted Prince Chrom", you can banish 1 "Marth" from your Graveyard; Special Summon this monster from your hand. Unaffected by the effects of Dragon- and Fiend-type monsters. If this monster battles an opponent's Dragon- or Fiend-type monster, whose ATK or DEF are higher than the current ATK of this card, this monster cannot be destroyed by battle, also destroy the opponent's monster without applying damage calculation. You can only control 1 "Marth" monster.

SPELLS
(x7)
[spoiler=Cards]
LETHALITY
Normal
[spoiler=Details]

  • Lethality can kill the enemy in one hit in FE, but obviously I wouldn't make it so it would make you win in 1 attack, but to make it a LETHAL card, I made it so that you can only use it on a level 8 monster to let that monster attack directly.

l95ec5F.jpg

[EFFECT]

Select 1 face-up level 8 "Ylisse" or "Tactician Magician" monster you control. If that monster attacks this turn, you can discard 2 cards; it can attack your opponent's life point's directly.

ROBIN'S LEVIN SWORD
Equip
[spoiler=Details]

  • I thought, why not...

ml5M3OD.jpg

[EFFECT]

You can only equip this card to a face-up "Tactician Magician" monster you control; it gains 500 ATK. When the equipped monster attacks or is attacked, you can target and destroy 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls before damage calculation.

AVERSA'S NIGHT
Equip
[spoiler=Details]

  • This isn't what the tome actually does, but I had to make some kind of card that would make Aversa even more OP. What's great is that it's not bound to just "Ylisse" monsters.

CIxpuNT.jpg

[EFFECT]

You can only equip this card to a face-up Spellcaster-type Synchro monster you control. The equipped monster gains 800 ATK and loses 400 DEF. While this card is equipped, all other monsters on the field become Spellcaster-type.

SOL
Equip
[spoiler=Details]

  • Just like Sol from FE Awakenng, you gain "HP" equal to the amount of damage you dealt, if you "trigger the skill".
  • EDIT: I got rid of the coin flip effect, because it was kind of unnecessary.

Mz0N0gF.jpg

[EFFECT:]

You can only equip this card to a face-up "Tactician Magician" or "Ylisse" monster you control. When the equipped monster attacks, if your opponent takes damage from the equipped monster's attack, you gain Life Points equal to the amount of damage dealt to the opponent.

PASSIVE
Equip
[spoiler=Details]

  • Passive, in Fire Emblem, halves Physical Damage taken. However, Yu-Gi-Oh!'s not that simple. I made it so that the selected monster can't be destroyed by battle and that the spell card can't be destroyed by something like "Heavy Storm" or "Mirror Force Dragon". You opponent MUST select this card in order to destroy it.

OVuRxKW.jpg

[EFFECT:]

This card can only be equipped to a face-up "Ylisse" monster you control. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by a card effect, destroy this card instead. This card is unaffected by card effects that destroy multiple cards at once. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, draw 2 cards.

AEGIS
Equip
[spoiler=Details]

  • Aegis, in Fire Emblem, halves Magical Damage taken. However, Yu-Gi-Oh!, you don't have "magical/physical damage". I made it so that the selected monster, instead, can't be destroyed by card effects and that this spell card also can't be destroyed by something like "Heavy Storm" or "Mirror Force Dragon". You opponent MUST select this card in order to destroy it.

tUV9Ruz.jpg

[EFFECT:]

This card can only be equipped to a face-up "Ylisse" monster you control. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by card effects. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead. This card is unaffected by card effects that destroy multiple cards at once. If this card is sent to the Graveyard, randomly banish 2 cards in your opponent's hand.

TIME TO TIP THE SCALES!
Continuous
[spoiler=Details]

  • How could I make a deck like this without adding a card named this...

GnSMYZd.jpg

[EFFECT:]

During Each of your Battle Phases, select 1 "Tactician Magician" monster you control. When that monster attacks an opponent's monster, toss 3 coins and apply the appropriate effect:

  • 3 Heads: Double the ATK of the selected monster until the end of the Battle Phase.
  • 2 Heads: This monster inflicts piercing battle damage when attacking a Defense Position monster.
  • 1 Head: You take no battle damage from the selected monster's attack.
  • 3 Tails: Your opponent cannot activate card effects in response to the attack.

TRAPS
(x4)
[spoiler=Cards]
PICK A GOD AND PRAY!
Normal
[spoiler=Details]

  • This is like a critical hit to protect your low-level monster, also Freddy D. HAS to be on the field when you use it, obviously.
  • EDIT: Changed the image to be a little more colorful

dPZxrjL.jpg

[EFFECT:]

While you control a face-up "Frederick, Great Knight of Ylisse", when an opponent's monster targets a Level 4 or lower Attack Position monster you control for an attack, the targeted monster's ATK is tripled until the end of the Damage Step.

VANTAGE
Normal
[spoiler=Details]

  • The Vantage skill, in Fire Emblem, allowed a unit with low HP to attack first, even when the enemy initiated the attack. Now, I obviously wouldn't go that far as to make it so you couldn't activate it unless you have 4000/8000 LP. Also obviously, you wouldn't use it in a way that would lower your life points. So I just made it swap the ATK of the battling monsters, as if the defending monster was attacking instead.

18VSfOu.jpg

[EFFECT]

When a face-up Attack Position "Ylisse" or "Tactician Magician" monster you control is targeted for an attack by your opponent's monster, the ATK of the opponent's monster and the selected target are switched until the end of the Battle Phase.

LIFE AND DEATH
Normal
[spoiler=Details]

  • In Fire Emblem, "Life and Death" is a skill that allowed a unit to deal 10 points extra damage, but also made you take 10 damage extra when an enemy attacked you. It was a blessing and a curse. However, I didn't want it to be that cut and dry for this deck. I recalled the multiple tuners that have "sent-to-Graveyard" effects and realized that if one was ever face-up on the field, no one would attack it, so I thought I'd make it so that you could make one leave the field whether the opponent attacked it or not. So that's the "Death" part, and the "Life" part is bringing a tuner back to your hand from the Graveyard.

2hLtwto.jpg

[EFFECT]

When an attack is declared while you control a face-up "Ylisse" Tuner monster, target 2 of your "Ylisse" Tuner monsters (1 face-up on your side of the field and 1 in your Graveyard), send the first target to the Graveyard, add the second one to your hand.

COUNTER
Normal
[spoiler=Details]

  • It's counter, and if you play Smash, you're already annoyed by that word... if you're not the one doing it, that is

V4OWqs6.jpg

[EFFECT]

When your opponent attacks a face-up "Ylisse" monster you control, destroy the attacking monster and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the attacking monster's ATK. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's monster effect, destroy the monster that destroyed this card and inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK.

EXTRA DECK
(x10)
[spoiler=Categories]
SYNCHRO MONSTERS
(x5)
[spoiler=Cards]
HENRY, DARK KNIGHT OF YLISSE
LV 8 - ATK/2500 - DEF/3000 - Spellcaster / Synchro / Effect - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Henry is probably the most sadistic character in the series that is also humorous at times. Peri... she's sadistic, but in my opinion, only for the sake of being sadistic. Anyway, Henry is obsessed with blood and curses, so you can "Curse" your opponent's monsters. He also lets you revive the monsters you used to summon him. If you used Nowi to summon him, you'd be able to summon another monster that's lower level that him.
  • EDIT: I changed the picture.
  • EDIT: I changed his effect to be more detrimental and OP.

uGevPfx.jpg

[EFFECT]

1 "Ylisse" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this monster is Synchro Summoned, any monsters that were sent to the Graveyard for this Synchro Summon are added to your hand. If this monster was Synchro Summoned using an Xyx Summoned monster as Synchro material, Special Summon 1 non-Tuner "Ylisse" or "Tactician Magician" monster from your hand whose Level is lower than this card. You can banish 1 "Ylisse" or "Tactician Magician" monster from your hand or Graveyard; target 1 monster your opponent controls; that target's ATK and DEF become 0 and its ATK and DEF cannot be raised.

THARJA, SORCERESS OF YLISSE
LV 9 - ATK/2700 - DEF/2200 - Spellcaster / Synchro / Effect - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Tharja... that's all I need to say

HPRii7a.jpg

[EFFECT]

1 "Ylisse" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this monster is Synchro Summoned, destroy all Spell/Trap cards on the field. While this card is face-up on the field, other Spellcaster-Type "Ylisse" or "Tactician Magician" monsters you control cannot be targeted for attacks. When your opponent activates the effect of a Spell/Trap card (on the field or in the Graveyard), you can banish 1 "Ylisse" or "Tactician Magician" monster from your Graveyard; negate the effect, and if you do, banish it.

WALHART THE CONQUEROR
LV10 - ATK/3500 - DEF/3500 - Warrior / Synchro / Effect - Fire
[spoiler=Details]

  • Walhart is just beastly and since he's a conqueror, he can take control of your opponent's monsters if they decide to challenge his army.

PJ2tANu.jpg

[EFFECT]

1 "Ylisse" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Warrior-type "Ylisse" monsters

When this monster is Synchro Summoned, destroy all non-Warrior-type monsters on the field (any face-down Defense Position monsters are destroyed as well). Unaffected by the effects of Spell/Trap cards and non-Warrior-type monsters. When another face-up Warrior-type "Ylisse" monster you control is destroyed by battle, take control of the attacking monster after the Damage Step and treat that monster as a Warrior-type "Ylisse" monster. Also, its effects are negated. When your opponent Summons a non-Warrior-type monster, that monster loses 1000 ATK and DEF.

AVERSA THE DARK FLIER
LV11 - ATK/3500 - DEF/2800 - Spellcaster / Synchro / Effect - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Aversa, is just bad... in a good way, and also OP enough to where it could possibly be limited or banned if it were to be real.
  • EDIT: I made her more OP... so now she can negate ANY effect.

P1ukMml.jpg

[EFFECT]

1 "Ylisse" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Spellcaster-type "Ylisse" monsters
This monster's Synchro Summon cannot be negated. When this monster is Synchro Summoned, destroy all other non-Spellcaster-type monsters on the field. Unaffected by other monster effects. All Spellcaster-type monsters on the field cannot be targeted for card effects or attacks, except this card. When your opponent activates a Spell, Trap, or monster effect, you can Tribute any Spellcaster-type monster on the field (even one your opponent controls), negate the effect, and if you do, destroy it.

GRIMA THE DIVINE DRAGON
LV12 - ATK/ ? - DEF/ ? - Divine-Beast - Divine
[spoiler=Details]

  • Grima is a godlike dragon in Fire Emblem, so I gave hime a godlike effect and typing. He is also RO.... *cough**cough*... spoilers... well too late. Anyway, that's why Robin is in the summon requirements.

QxKcWq0.jpg

[EFFECT]

1 Xyz Tuner + 1 "Ylisse" Tuner + 1 "Robin the Tactician Magician"
This monster can only be Synchro Summoned by the above Synchro material monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned in other ways. This monster's Synchro Summon cannot be negated. When this monster is Synchro Summoned, card effects cannot be activated. This monster's ATK and DEF are equal to the number of "Ylisse" monsters that are banished, on the field, or in either player's Graveyard x 1000. When your opponent Summons a monster, you can target 1 banished "Ylisse" monster OR one in either player's Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Attack Position. This monster cannot be used as Xyz material.

XYZ MONSTERS
(x5)
[spoiler=Cards]
LADY TIKI, PRIESTESS OF NAGA
RK 4 - ATK/2400 - DEF/2600 - Dragon / Xyz / Effect - Wind
[spoiler=Details]

  • Lady Tiki is a really powerful and respected unit within the game, so I wanted to give this card a semi-OP and recyclable effect that would make you want to summon her. She can stop your opponent's Battle Phase and continuously do so as long as you have other "Ylisse" cards on the field. Not only that, while equipped with Xyz material, she (and any other "Ylisse" monster) stacks up ATK.

l2CpZOQ.jpg

[EFFECT]

3 Level 4 monsters
This monster is treated as an "Ylisse" monster. As long as this monster is face-up on the field, all "Ylisse" and "Tactician Magician" monsters you control gain 400 ATK and DEF for each Xyz material attached to this card. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, you can detatch 1 Xyz material from this card; your opponent cannot conduct his or her Battle Phase. Once per turn, during your turn, you can attach 1 "Ylisse" monster you control to this monster as Xyz material.

NOWI, YLISSE'S MANAKETE
RK 4 - ATK/2000 - DEF/2400 - Dragon / Xyz / Effect / Tuner - Wind
[spoiler=Details]

  • Nowi is another powerful dragon unit in FE, but not as good as Tiki. I thought it would be interesting if you could use an Xyz monster as a tuner, to here you go.

YQ3Ppig.jpg

[EFFECT]

2 Level 4 monsters
This monster can be treated as a monster with a Level equal to its current rank. If this monster is used as Synchro Material for an "Ylisse" monster, the tributed monsters' levels can be greater than OR equal to the Synchro Summoned monster. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card to Special Summon 1 "Ylisse" Tuner monster from your deck or Graveyard.

EMMERYN, EXALT OF YLISSE
RK 5 - ATK/2500 - DEF/3000 - Spellcaster / Xyz / Effect - Light
[spoiler=Details]

  • Emm is like the Queen of peace in FE. If she can help it, no war, no violence, no nothing, so her effect will reflect that, even to the point to where if she can't do anything, she can destroy herself..... did I just go there?

RYI7cf6.jpg

[EFFECT]

3 Level 5 "Ylisse" monsters
When this monster is Xyz Summoned, change all other monsters on the field to Defense Position and negate their effects. While this monster is face-up on the field, neither player can conduct their Battle Phase or destroy monsters with card effects. When your opponent Summons a monster whose ATK is higher than at least 1 of your face-up "Ylisse" monsters, you can detatch 1 Xyz material from this card; banish that monster and increase your Life Points by an amount equal to the difference between the banished monster's ATK and the highest ATK "Ylisse" monster you control whose ATK is lower than the banished monster. If this monster has no Xyz material attached to it, you can destroy this card.

VALIDAR, SORCERER KING OF PLEGIA
RK 8 - ATK/3200 - DEF/2800 - Spellcaster / Xyz / Effect - Dark
[spoiler=Details]

  • Validar is the semi-final boss... he's got an... interesting effect...

lgCzqVg.jpg

[EFFECT]

2 level 8 "Ylisse" monsters
When this monster is Xyz Summoned, banish all Spell/Trap cards in both players Graveyards. Once per turn, other Spellcaster-type "Ylisse" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects. when your opponent activates a monster effect, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card; banish 1 card from your Graveyard, negate the effect, and if you do, banish it. When this monster is destroyed (either by battle or by card effect), shuffle all banished cards into the respective players' decks.

NAGA, THE DIVINE DRAGON
RK12 - ATK/4000 - DEF/3500 - Dragon / Xyz / Effect - Wind
[spoiler=Details]

  • Want something a little more OP than the rest of the monsters? How about an Alternate win condition monster that is unaffected by card effects...
  • EDIT: I upped her rank and made it easier for her to summon, allowing you to potentially use from 3 to 5 strong monsters to Summon her. I also lowered the alternate victory standard, so that you didn't technically HAVE to use Xyz Summonsed monsters to win. You could just use 5 REALLY strong monsters, but that way, if you have 5 strong monsters, you can still potentially win via alternate victory.

qzOdV2Y.jpg

[EFFECT]

3 or more Level 8-12 "Ylisse" monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 3 or more Xyz Summoned "Ylisse" monsters as Xyz Material (Xyz materials attached to those monsters become Xyz material on this card). When this monster is Xyz Summoned, destroy all other cards on the field. This card cannot attack the turn it is Xyz Summoned. Unaffected by card effects. Once per turn, when your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster, you can banish 1 Xyz material from this card; negate the Summon, and banish it. If 5 of your "Ylisse" monsters were banished by the effect of this card, you win the duel.

With all these cards, their effect start to run together and feel hard to distinguish, or find specific comments. I think you have more than enough cards for people to figure out how they work. Cards like the beast-warrior type (Panne), which you said you couldn't think of a good effect for, I'd suggest cutting them. That way, you have fewer cards but all of them are a strong representation of the archetype, instead of having some "just because".

Seems to be a lot of spell/trap removal, which is always good. The first 2 tuner monsters you listed have identical effects except for type and stats, so maybe one of them could be removed. You could instead make Donnel the Villager a tuner, since its effects would be great for a tuner. Laurent's effect of sending a card to the bottom of the deck is even better removal.

Anna seems too generic to me. It gets you an extra draw per turn plus a draw on summon, it can negate multiple attacks per turn and the only cost is milling cards. There are decks based around milling and grave effects. Pot of Desires banishes 10 cards for a draw 2 effect, so I think there needs to be a higher cost for this monster. Maybe make the cards sent to the grave banished instead, or you need to control another "Ylisse" monster or this card is destroyed.

The monsters whose effects destroy monsters after damage calculations; I think it's the damage calculations which destroy monsters, so these effect might not work correctly. I think you'd want to word them like "If this monster battle's an opponent's monster, destroy the attacking/both monsters (damage calculations applied normally)."

For "Panne", I didn't say I couldn't find a GOOD effect for her. It's actually not a bad one. I just couldn't find one that fit her character's most notable trait from the game. For example, "Kellam's" most notable trait is that he seems invisible to the world around him, so for Yu-Gi-Oh, he can't be attacked cause no one can see him, get it? Frederick is basically the commander of the army, so it makes sense for him to be able to bring out another "Knight". "Panne's" most notable trait is just that she's a beast shape shifter, but that's not necessarily material for an effect. But anyway, the effect I gave her actually can help in getting a more powerful monster, like one of the Divine Dragon monsters out.

For "Anna", I kind of agree. I had also realized that the second you throw her out, she'd be the attack priority of your opponent and she's not THAT strong. Maybe she can gain attack for each counter. Also, I did leave this as a suggested criticism already, that is to Banish all cards from both the activation effect and the "leaves the field" effect.

There were no monsters with a "Destroy monster after damage calculation" effect. Those were "Destroy monster WITHOUT applying damage calculation at all.

Finally, I originally had Donnell as a tuner, but i didn't want there to be too many tuners and not enough low-leveled non-tuners. I wanted there to be at least 1 level 3 non tuner, but with his effect, I think it can still work.

This deck was made with difficult options in mind, cause obviously you'd want to double up on cards like lethality among others and especially if you use "Anna", you might want to add a few extra cards so you don't run dry. Notice that there weren't any "Return a card to the deck" effects, so conservation with "Anna" is pretty important.
