First of all, thanks to anybody that chooses to comment. Some (or most) of you may know about Kachou Fugetsu and will immediately recognize it as the inspiration for Lunar Flower & Storm Bird's name, but for those that don't know it is a japanese sentence whose characters mean Flower, Bird, Wind and Moon and encourages the reader to experience the beauties of nature in order to learn about themselves.

Normal Spell Card

Target 1 monster you control; Special Summon 1 "Hex-Sealed Fusion" monster from your Deck with the same Attribute as that target, but it cannot be used as a Material for an Xyz Summon. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; once during this turn, if exactly 1 Fusion Monster would be Special Summoned to your field by the effect of a "Hex-Sealed Fusion" monster, that Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon. You can only activate 1 "Hex-Seal Metarphosis" per turn.

Excavate the top card of each player's Deck; if they are the same card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap), banish 1 monster your opponent controls. Otherwise, banish this card instead of sending it to the Graveyard. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can target 1 "Kaiwaiata Kakapo" Xyz Monster you control; attach this card to it as Xyz Material. You can only use each effect "Kaiwaiata Kakapo - Agitated Contemplation" once per turn.

If you control a "Kaiwaiata Kakapo" monster, except "Kaiwaiata Kakapo - Blue Motet", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can declare a card's name; your opponent reveals the card on the bottom of their Deck, and if they do, if it is the declared card, add 1 "Kaiwaiata Kakapo" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand, then shuffle the revealed card into the Deck. Otherwise, put the revealed card on the bottom of their Deck. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can target 1 "Kaiwaiata Kakapo" Xyz Monster you control; attach this card to it as Xyz Material. You can only use each effect of "Kaiwaiata Kakapo - Blue Motet" once per turn.

This card gains ATK equal to the number of Xyz Materials attached to it x100. Cannot be destroyed by battle, and any battle damage you take from battles involving this card is halved. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card battled with an opponent's monster: You can attach that opponent's monster to this card as Xyz Material. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead.

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 "Kaiwaiata Kakapo - Multicoloured Choir" you control as Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Cannot be destroyed by battle, also you take no battle damage from battles involving it. This card gains 1000 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. During either player's turn, when a monster effect is activated that targets this card: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the activation. During your opponent's End Phase: Detach all Xyz Materials attached to this card.

A Fusion Summon of this card can also be done with the effect of "Lunar Flower & Storm Bird", using "Polymerization". This card gains ATK equal to the number of "Kaiwaiata Kakapo" cards in your Graveyard x500. If your opponent Special Summon a monster(s): You can declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap); excavate the top card of your opponent's Deck, and if you do, if it is the declared card type, change that monster(s) to face-down Defense Position. If this Fusion Summoned card is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or card effect), or if this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can target 1 "Kaiwaiata Kakapo" Xyz Monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.

If this card is in your Graveyard: You can target 1 "Kaiwaiata Kakapo" Xyz Monster you control; attach this card to it as Xyz Material, and if you do, that target gains this effect. You can only use this effect of "Kaiwaiata Kakapo - Yellow Ballad" once per turn.

Monster Effect

While face-up on the field, it is also treated as DARK, EARTH and LIGHT-Attribute. During your Main Phase: You can discard 1 "Fusion" or "Polymerization" Spell Card, that is listed on a Fusion Monster that can be Fusion Summoned by the effect of "Lunar Flower & Storm Bird", then Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using this card as the Fusion Material. You can only use this effect of "Lunar Flower & Storm Bird" once per turn.
