Guest BGMCANN0N Posted March 19, 2017 Report Share Posted March 19, 2017 So it is essentially a 1 of in every Deck because of its natural ability to gain pluses when you are in a compromising position....While it is a nice concept on paper: It does kind of beg the question as to whether or not the person who was "losing" deserves such a boost. I mean you could use means to manipulate your opponents damage output (i.e. Waboku, Threatening Roar, etc.) to make sure you don't die as well as pay a bulk of your LP (i.e. A Hero Lives, Wall of Revealing Light, Psychic Blade, etc.) to potentially abuse this card ASAP. Sure a lot it may not be live for awhile, and you may be subjected to it being a dead card in your hand even if you invested most of your strategy to abuse this, but a potential +4 is such a risky design it is not something I would personally encourage. Not only that but since it is a Normal Spell it can be abused by Diamond Dude turbo since Diamond Dude can bypass its seemingly clunky condition. Fruiota_Hiroshi Posted March 20, 2017 Report Share Posted March 20, 2017 It seems a bit overpowered. Say it's the only card in your hand, and you have exactly 1000 LP. It's basically 5 free cards, which could make you win, even if your opponent has a much larger amount, depending on what you draw. Maybe if you restricted it to drawing a certain number of cards (like 2 or 3) or made it so you don't go all the way up to 5 cards, then this wouldn't be so powerful.
