Sailor Moon TCG/OCG archetype, "Sailors"! Part One: Basic

Hey guys, SEGA Fan BOSS here bringing you all with my first-ever forum post on YCM! So I've known about this site for years, since about 2013 or so but have never had anything of importance to make as far as cards go, so I just filed this place away until recently. Then earlier this year, in accordance with my reintroduction to Sailor Moon, which is the second anime I ever saw when I was about 4 years old, and as well as a way to keep my hand in the series while my story on fanfiction.net, Sonic The Hedgehog-Sailor Moon, is in development hell, I went back to YCM and began a very powerful archetype that would, quite frankly, be very broken in today's game based on the Sailor Scouts/Sailor Senshi called "Sailors". It's composed almost entirely of Spellcaster-Type monsters, but with a smattering of other Types; also all of the strongest monsters in the archetype are going to be DIVINE Creator God-Type monsters, simply because of their status as full-blown gods in their universe, and quite honestly their powers in that form far surpass the Egyptian Gods in scale, so I think it's well-founded. This will be the first part of my archetype, consisting simply of the base forms of our team; enhanced forms and S/T support will be uploaded in later parts, as there will be at least 3 parts total to this. So without further ado, let's get right into it!

1. Messiah of Sanctity - Sailor Moon

Level 4

LIGHT

Spellcaster/Effect

When this card is Summoned: Trap Cards cannot be activated. This card gains 300 ATK and DEF for each "Sailor" monster with a different name you control. Once per turn: You can pay 500 LP; activate 1 of the following effects.
・・・Add 1 "Sailor" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Messiah of Sanctity - Sailor Moon".
・・・Add 1 "Sailor Moon" monster with a higher Level from your Deck to your hand.

2. Warrior of Ice - Sailor Mercury

Level 4

WATER

Spellcaster/Effect

1000/2000

 

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; add 1 "Sailor" monster, except "Warrior of Ice - Sailor Mercury", or Equip Spell Card that specifically mentions either of "Sailor Moon", "Sailor Mercury", "Sailor Venus", "Sailor Mars", or "Sailor Jupiter" in its card text, from your Deck to your hand. If you control a "Warrior of Thunder - Sailor Jupiter", you can add both types of the aforementioned cards from your Deck to your hand.

3. Warrior of Desires - Sailor Venus

Level 4

LIGHT

Spellcaster/Effect

1700/1400

 

You can discard this card; add 1 "Messiah of Sanctity - Sailor Moon" from your Deck to your hand. When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses 500 ATK. If you control a "Warrior of Flames - Sailor Mars", that target loses 1000 ATK.

4. Sailor Earth - Tuxedo Mask

Level 6

EARTH

Spellcaster/Effect

 800/1600

 

If you control a "Sailor Moon" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Sailor Earth - Tuxedo Mask" once per turn. If this card is Summoned: You can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; negate its effects until your opponent's End Phase, also it cannot attack. If a "Sailor Moon" monster you control is attacked by an opponent's monster with higher ATK: You can send this card from your hand or field to the Graveyard; change that opponent's monster to face-down Defense Position.

5. Prince Endymion - Moonlight Knight

Level 6

EARTH

Spellcaster/Effect

(This card's name is also treated as "Sailor Earth - Tuxedo Mask".)
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 face-up "Sailor Earth - Tuxedo Mask" and 1 "Gaia" monster you control, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; change that target to face-down Defense Position. If a "Sailor Moon" monster you control is targeted for an attack or card effect: You can discard 1 card; negate that attack or effect, and if you do, banish that card. This effect of "Prince Endymion - Moonlight Knight" can only be used once per Duel.

 

NOTE: Now the reason I gave this guy the title "Prince Endymion" and not with "Tuxedo Mask" has to do with my headcanon. Basically, for those who don't know, Moonlight Knight first appears in Sailor Moon R, and in his final episode he reveals that when Sailor Moon defeated Queen Metallia in the original Sailor Moon she reset reality by wishing for a normal life for herself and her friends with the Silver Crystal. Now, Darien/Mamoru, aka Tuxedo Mask, subconsciously split off his memories from his actual body and gave it form to protect Serena/Usagi, likely through the power of his Golden Crystal, and that form essentially became a new Senshi form called Moonlight Knight. Now, my personal headcanon goes as such: We know that with all the Sailor Scouts have the spirits, if you will, of their predecessors within them and it is through this link that they can take on their Sailor forms. I believe that when Darien split off his memories to protect his love he was actually expelling the part of his soul that still is Prince Endymion, the true Earth Prince, and it was he who became Moonlight Knight. Feel free to disagree with this theory if you feel different but this is the reason I called him "Prince Endymion - Moonlight Knight".

6. Warrior of Flames - Sailor Mars

Level 4

FIRE

Spellcaster/Effect

1650/1500

 

When this card is Summoned: Inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each "Sailor" monster with a different name you control. If you control a "Warrior of Desires - Sailor Venus", this damage is doubled. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; inflict damage to your opponent equal to half its current ATK. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated.

7. Warrior of Thunder - Sailor Jupiter

Level 6

WIND

Spellcaster/Effect

2300/2000

 

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If you control a "Warrior of Ice - Sailor Mercury", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). The first time this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, it is not destroyed. If this card attacks an opponent's monster that has higher ATK: Reduce its ATK by this card's original ATK until the end of the Battle Phase.

8. Warrior of the Heavens - Sailor Uranus

Level 7

WIND

Spellcaster/Effect

2500/2100

 

You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, but you skip your next Draw Phase. If you control a "Warrior of the Deep Waters - Sailor Neptune", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Summoned: Your opponent's face-up monster with the highest ATK loses 600 ATK. If you control a "Warrior of the Deep Waters - Sailor Neptune": This card gains 500 ATK and DEF.

9. Warrior of the Deep Waters - Sailor Neptune

Level 7

WATER

Spellcaster/Effect

2100/2500

 

You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, but you skip your next Draw Phase. If you control a "Warrior of the Heavens - Sailor Uranus", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Summoned: Your opponent's face-up monster with the highest ATK is switched to face-down Defense Position. If you control a "Warrior of the Heavens - Sailor Uranus": This card gains 500 ATK and DEF.

10. Warrior of the Underworld - Sailor Pluto

Level 7

DARK

Spellcaster/Effect

2500/2200

 

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by sending 1 face-up "Garnet Orb" you control to the Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "The Space-Time Door" from your Deck to your hand. Banish any monster destroyed by battle with this card. Once per turn: you can activate 1 of the following effects.
・・・Banish 1 face-up card on the field.
・・・Add 1 Spell/Trap Card from your Graveyard to your hand.

12. Messiah of Silence - Sailor Saturn

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) while you control "Warrior of the Heavens - Sailor Uranus", "Warrior of the Deep Waters - Sailor Neptune", and "Warrior of the Underworld - Sailor Pluto", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. Cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn: You can pay half your LP; banish all cards on the field and in both players' hands, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Messiah of Sanctity - Sailor Moon" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

13. Apprentice Warrior of Sanctity - Sailor Mini Moon

Level 2

LIGHT

(This card is always treated as a "Sailor Moon" monster.)
When this card is Summoned: You can add 1 "Messiah of Sanctity - Sailor Moon" from your Deck to your hand. During the turn this card is Normal Summoned, you can Normal Summon 1 "Messiah of Sanctity - Sailor Moon" in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.)
