Abyss Actors

I have a love/ hate relationship with this archetype. On one hand they look like cool competitors to Performages, which is a circus and the cards overall are good.On the other hand it seems like after the emergency banlist caused by Plushfire, Konami has decided that everyone that can search needs a hard OTP. They also have next to no synergy with anything else in the game. All of the Spells have good secondary effects but the only card that can force them to proc is a rank 5 Artifact Durendal. Sacred Sword of seven stars, Trade in, and Allure of darkness all create the same problem being that they move monsters from being able to get into the extra.

 

As far as lore goes you can't really tell what the show is about, though there is a card that depicts 2 of them on a stage (Set Rotation) but not much else. Hopefully they actually get support, but for now there's this.

   1. Abyss Actor Devious Director
      1. Scale of 8: Pendulum Effect: Once per turn, when an "Abyss Actor" monster destroys a monster by battle OR is destroyed by battle; that opponent's monster's effect becomes "During the end of the Battle Phase, destroy 1 set Spell or Trap card on the field."
          
      2. Monster Effect: When this card is destroyed by battle or destroys a monster by battle, that monster's effect becomes "During the end of the Battle Phase, destroy 1 set card on the field."

   2. Abyss Actor Musical Chair
      1. Scale of 0: Pendulum Effect: You can only Pendulum Summon "Abyss Actor" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. Once per turn, when an "Abyss Actor" monster is Pendulum Summoned, you can target 3 "Abyss Actor" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle them into the Deck and draw 1 card.
      2. Monster Effect: When this card is summoned you can target 3 "Abyss Script" Spell cards in your Graveyard; shuffle them into your Deck and draw 1 card. You can only use the effect of "Abyss Actor -- Musical Chair" once per turn.

   3. Abyss Actor Uber Understudy
      1.  Pendulum Scale of 7: If you have an "Abyss Actor" in your other Pendulum Zone all "Abyss Actor" monsters gain 200 ATK for each "Abyss Actor" card on the field.
          
      2. Monster effect: If you have 2 "Abyss Actor" cards in your Pendulum Zones you can Special Summon this card (From your hand). If this card is tributed you can activate this effect:
         This turn, the Pendulum Summon of "Abyss Actor" monsters cannot be negated.

   1. Abyss Script Harmonious Harping
      1. Target 1 "Abyss Actor" monster you control. When that monster attacks your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. If this Set card in its owner's control is destroyed by an opponent's card effect while you have an "Abyss Actor" Pendulum monster face-up in your Extra deck: Your opponent cannot conduct their Battle Phase for 2 turns.
   2. Abyssmal Show For Artisan Folk (Field Spell)
      1. All monsters you control gain 100 ATK for each set Spell/ Trap Card you control. Set Spell/ Trap Cards you control cannot be targeted during your turn. If this card is destroyed by an opponent's card effect, during this turn, the next activated card effect becomes:" Both players can destroy set 1 Spell/ Trap card their opponent controls," when it resolves.

   1. No Interruptions! (Counter trap)
      1. You can only activate this card if you have an "Abyss Actor" monster face up in your Extra deck and an "Abyss Actor" card in your Pendulum Zone. If your opponent activates a card or card effect, the effect becomes "Both players can set 1 Spell card from their deck to their side of the field, but during the End Phase destroy them." If this set card is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: your opponent cannot Special Summon the rest of this turn.
