Shadow_Flare Posted July 10, 2017 Report Share Posted July 10, 2017 So as the title suggests, the Phantom Arcanas are based on the Phantom Thieves of Hearts from the video game "Persona 5". The archetype's playstyle revolves around using the Phantom Arcana monsters in tandem with their Spell/Trap card support to overwhelm and outwit the opponent as a way to make up for their average ATK/DEF scores. The Main Deck monsters all share the common effect of Tributing themselves (ripping their masks) in order to Special Summon a corresponding Fusion Monster (the "Personas") from the Extra Deck. The Fusions themselves also share the common effect of banishing themselves from the GY to Special Summon back to represent their finished use after said member's turn.I will try to emulate each respective character in regards to their effects whether it be via their personalities/hobbies/in-game functions or the traits of their Personas. I'm open for suggestions (especially to other Persona 5 fans) as I will be making more support as references to the game (mainly on the Spell/Trap department) on top of also editing up what I already have here.
