I like the Weathery archetype, but they have 2 major problems.

1. The main searcher has 0 ATK (although the only real 3 of)
2. There is never enough fodder for Sunny to pop off or to actually use the link.

So I made this:

 

Forecast (Field Spell)

 

All "Weathery" monsters you control gain 200 ATK and  DEF for each monster you control with a different attribute. If a "Weathery" effect monster you control is banished to activate the effect of a "Weathery" card: Special Summon 1 "Daily Weathery Token" (Fairy-type/Level 2/800 ATK/800 DEF). The token's attribute is the same as the monster banished. You cannot Special Summon monsters, except "Weathery" monsters. This effect cannot be negated.

 

I've always wondered why Mecha Phantom Beasts never got a field spell (or more support tbh).

Problems:

1. There is no draw support in the archetype
2. Tokens don't have any real protection
3. The levels are hard to control.

Mecha Phantom Base

 

"Mecha Phantom Beast" monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF. Tokens you control cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects.  Once per turn, you can tribute 1 "Mecha Phantom Beast" Token; draw 1 card.

 

 

My Thoughts:

 

I realized that Forecast was really strong fairly quickly as it would allow you to turbo out rainbow quasar (Arciel). who even when kaijued can come back via sunny sacking that same kaiju. The attack gain maxes out at one thousand, but if you ever get 5 different weathery on the field at the same time you deserve a cookie. It should be noted that the tokens are not effect monsters and would not summon a token (although they can proc the other effects). I imagine the artwork would look something like convulsion of nature.

 

 

Mecha Phantom Base- The attack gain is nothing out of the ordinary. The protection is strong, but with good reason. Without tokens you can't really play the game. The draw ends up being a plus 1 if you have harrliard, but in all other cases just barely breaks even. It also helps control the levels as this is (Technically) a Synchro/ Xyz Archetype.
