Spindrical Archetype ~ Putting a Fun Spin on the Game

Welcome, one and all, to the Spindrical production hall! Theatrics aside, these nifty little buggers are focused on shuffling cards into the Deck, hence the 'Spin' in 'Spindrical'. They do come at the cost of having to spin your own cards, but the aspect of just spinning for fun is great!

 

Spindrical Cankhan

800 ATK/1000 DEF
When this card is Normal Summoned: add 1 "Spindrical Returntable" from your Deck or GY to your hand. Once per turn, if a "Spindrical" monster is added from your Deck to your hand: you can reveal that monster; Special Summon it.

When this card is Normal Summoned: add 1 "Spindrical Returntable" from your Deck or GY to your hand. Once per turn, if a "Spindrical" card is shuffled into the Deck: you can add 1 "Spindrical" card from your Deck to your hand.

Spindrical Cylindrical Sovereign

When this card is Summoned: shuffle 1 "Spindrical" card from your hand, field, or GY into the Deck; shuffle 1 card your opponent controls into the Deck, then draw 1 card. Once per turn, if a "Spindrical" card is shuffled into the Deck: Special Summon 1 "Spindrical" monster from your Deck in Defense Position.
 
Spindrical Reboundary
Field Spell
When this card is activated: add 1 "Spindrical" card from your Deck to your hand. You can target 1 "Spindrical" card you control and 1 card your opponent controls (Quick Effect): shuffle them into the Deck. You can target 1 "Spindrical" card in your GY and 1 card in your opponent's GY (Quick Effect); shuffle them into the Deck. You can only activate each efect of "Spindrical Reboundary" once per turn.
 
Spindrical Revolution
Normal Spell
Shuffle 2 "Spindrical" cards you control into the Deck; shuffle 1 card your opponent controls into the Deck, then Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower "Spindrical" monster from your Deck. You can banish this card from your GY, then add 1 "Spindrical" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Spindrical Revolution", and if you do, shuffle 1 "Spindrical" card from your hand, field, or GY into the Deck.
 
Spindrical Recurrency
Continuous Spell
Each time a "Spindrical" card(s) is shuffled into the Deck, place 1 Spin Counter on this card (max. 8). Each time a card your opponent controls is shuffled into the Deck, remove 1 Spin Counter from this card. During the End Phase: remove all Spin Counters from this card, then you can Special Summon 1 "Spindrical" monster from your Deck whose Level is lower than or equal to the amount of counters removed.
 
Spindrical Reaccylinder
Continuous Trap
Each time a "Spindrical" card(s) is shuffled into the Deck, place 1 Spin Counter on this card (max. 20). If a "Spindrical" card(s) you control would be destroyed, you can remove 1 Spin Counter from this card instead. Once per turn, during the End Phase, you can remove 5 Spin Counters from this card to activate 1 of the following effects:
~Inflict 500 damage to your opponent.
~Shuffle 1 card from your opponent's field and GY into the Deck.
~Add 1 "Spindrical" card from your GY to you hand.
~Special Summon 1 "Spindrical" monster from your GY.
 
Spindrical Returntable
Continuous Trap
Any monster sent to the GY, or "Spindrical" cards that would be banished, are shuffled into the Deck instead.

This seems like it would be an incredibly fun deck to play, giving your opponent a hard time by spinning their monsters back into their deck and making up for minuses by searching and special summoning monsters. Reaccylinder seems like it would do better as a field spell but hey, you do you. Having three monsters that specifically search returntable is a bit of an oddball choice, but the card can give your opponent such a hard time if they rely on the graveyard to make their plays, like zombies or merlanteans, that I think it doesn't really matter.

I chose to make Reaccylinder a Trap card because of the way the effect works. I feel that Reboundary works better as a field spell because it behaves a lot like The Hidden City for Subterrors, and Reaccylinder has a lot of choices and activates each End Phase. I just thought it suited a Trap better

 

As for the 3 little ones searching Returntable, I did that because the cards really have no way of spinning cards on their own. Returntable ensures that your monsters continually go back into the Deck and won't be banished. It also is the safest way of shuffling any monsters back into the Deck, activating the Spindricals' effects, and acting as a pseudo-Dimensional Fissure.
