EndUser
Wildsove AvianWIND / Winged Beast / ATK 2200 / LINK-2 / EffectLink arrows: Down right - Down2 monsters with the same AttributeYou can Special Summon (from your hand), or Normal Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Winged Beast monster during the turn this card is Link Summoned in addition to your Normal Summon/Set (you can only gain this effect once per turn). All monsters you control in the same column as this card are unaffected by your opponent Spell/Trap Cards. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, if your opponent controls more monsters than you do: You can take 1 Level 4 or lower Winged Beast monster from your Deck, and either add it to your hand or send it to the Graveyard. You can only activate each effect of "Wildsove Avian" once per turn.----------------------------------------------------------------- I'm still not familiar with the Link Monsters interractions, so I thought Advanced was a bit much for the case, although I won't mind if some of the comments are a little more relevant to the actual gamestate. As for the card: Winged Beasts can make use of some of the existing Link Monsters, but a dedicated card may be just what they need. Due to relying on Summoning a lot to make actual plays (I'm talking mostly for Blackwing/Raidraptors/Lyrical/Harpies, which are probably the best atm), the extra Summoning Avian provides can be very good*. Also, they need a little more consistency and the way I chose to apply it is according to the opponent's field presence.Worst case scenario, Avian can be Summoned relatively easy and provides protection to itself and (potentially) to an additional monster. *The reason I let the player choose whether to Normal or Special Summon is because certain archetypes trigger certain things (for example, Blackwings need to trigger Whirlwind and the Lyrical monsters activate effects when Special Summoned).
