Welcome, Duelists, to the Warmonk Battle Theatre! Here you will witness te tremendous fighting abilities of the infamous Warmonk Clan, a nomadic group who have mastered an ancient art of combat and enlightenment. These cards I have made loosely based off of the game, Cardfight Vanguard, and hopefully they didn't come out too bad, as I tried to cut back on words. So, without further ado, here are the Warmonks!

 

 

Prophetic Warmonk, Valorie
LIGHT/Spellcaster

PE: Once per turn, when a "Warmonk" monster you control destroys an opponent's monster by battle: you can shuffle 1 face-up "Warmonk" Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck into the Deck; that monster can attack again.
ME: When this card is Summoned, if you control another "Warmonk" monster: you can excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck; add 1 "Warmonk" monster from those excavated cards to your hand, then return the rest of those cards to the bottom of your Deck in any order. If this card is added to your hand by the effect of a "Warmonk" monster you control: you can place this card in your Pendulum Zone or Special Summon it.

PE: Once per turn, when a "Warmonk" monster you control destroys an opponent's monster by battle: you can shuffle 1 face-up "Warmonk" Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck into the Deck; banish the destroyed monster and one card in your opponent's GY.
ME: When this card is Summoned, if you control another "Warmonk" monster: you can place 3 "Warmonk" monsters from your hand and/or GY on top of your Deck in any order; draw 1 card from the bottom of your Deck. If this card is added to your hand by the effect of a "Warmonk" monster you control: you can place this card in your Pendulum Zone or Special Summon it.

ME: Once per turn, you can destroy 1 "Warmonk" card in your Pendulum Zone: destroy 1 face-up card your opponent controls. If a "Warmonk" monster you control battles an opponent's monster: you can change this card to Defense Position; that monster gains 500 ATK. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. If this card is added to your hand by the effect of a "Warmonk" monster you control: you can place it in your Pendulum Zone or Special Summon it.

ME: Once per turn, you can destroy 1 "Warmonk" card in your Pendulum Zone: destroy 1 Set card your opponent controls. If a "Warmonk" monster you control battles an opponent's monster: you can change this card to Defense Position; that monster gains 500 ATK. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. If this card is added to your hand by the effect of a "Warmonk" monster you control: you can place this card in your Pendulum Zone or Special Summon it.

ME: This Special Summoned card cannot be used as Material for an Xyz Summon. When this card is Summoned: destroy 1 "Warmonk" card you control. During Damage Calculation between this card and an opponent's monster: excavate the top card of your Deck: if it is a "Warmonk" monster, add it to your hand and this card gains 500 ATK, otherwise, place it on the bottom of the Deck. A "Warmonk" Xyz monster with this card as Material gains the following effect: *Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead.

ME: You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 Level 8 "Warmonk" monster you control as Material. You cannot Summon Rank 9 or higher monsters the turn you Xyz Summon this card. Gains the ATK of all "Warmonk" monsters attached to it as Material. During Damage Calculation between this card and an opponent's monster: excavate the top card of your Deck: if it is a "Warmonk" monster, add it to your hand and this card gains 500 ATK, otherwise place it on the bottom of the Deck. Once per turn, you can detach 1 "Warmonk" monster from this card: attach 1 face-up "Warmonk" Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck to this card, then draw 1 card from the bottom of your Deck. While this card has a "Warmonk" monster attached to it, it cannot be Tributed. If this monster on the field is destroyed, you can place it in your Pendulum Zone.

ME: You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 Rank 8 "Warmonk" monster you control as Material (Transfer its Materials to this card). You cannot Summon Rank 11 or higher monsters the turn you Xyz Summon this card. Gains the ATK of all "Warmonk" monsters attached to it as Material. During Damage Calculation between this card and an opponent's monster: excavate the top 2 cards of your Deck: add any excavated "Warmonk" monsters to your hand and this card gains 500 ATK for each, then place the rest on bottom of the Deck. Once per turn: you can detach 1 "Warmonk" monster from this card; attach 1 face-up "Warmonk" Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck to this card, then shuffle 3 "Warmonk" cards from your GY into the Deck. While this card has a "Warmonk" monster attached to it, it cannot be Tributed. If this monster on the field is destroyed, you can place it in Pendulum Zone.

ME: You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 Rank 10 "Warmonk" monster you control as Material (Transfer its Materials to this card). Gains the ATK of all "Warmonk" monsters attached to it as Material. During Damage Calculation between this card and an opponent's monster: excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck: add any excavated "Warmonk" monsters to your hand and this card gains 500 ATK for each, then place the rest on bottom of the Deck. Once per turn, you can detach 1 "Warmonk" monster from this card (Quick Effect); attach 1 face-up "Warmonk" Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck to this card, then banish 1 card on the field. While this card has a "Warmonk" monster attached to it, it cannot be Tributed. If this monster on the field is destroyed, you can place it in your Pendulum Zone.
 
Warmonk Frontline Assault

Shuffle 1 face-up "Warmonk" Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck into the Deck: destroy 1 card your opponent controls. You can banish this card from your GY: for the rest of this turn, your opponent takes no damage, also draw 1 card from the bottom of your Deck.
 
Warmonk Recovery Tactics
Normal Trap
When a "Warmonk" card(s) you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (by battle or card effect): shuffle 2 "Warmonk" cards from your GY or face-up from your Extra Deck into the Deck; draw 1 card from the bottom of your Deck.
 
Warmonk Counterstrike
Counter Trap
When your opponent activates a card or effect, or Special Summons a monster(s): destroy 2 "Warmonk" cards you control; negate the Summon or activation, and if you do, destroy that card, then you can Set this card.
 
Warmonk Theatre
Field Spell
Unaffected by card effects, except for its own. Your opponent takes no damage, except battle damage from the highest Level/Rank "Warmonk" monster you control (Only 1 if tied). You cannot Set or activate Field Spell cards. While there is a face-up "Warmonk" Pendulum monster in your Extra Deck, you take no damage, also you cannot Special Summon monsters, except for "Warmonk" monsters. If there are 5 or more face-up "Warmonk" Pendulum monsters in your Extra Deck, you lose the Duel. "Warmonk" cards in your possession are unaffected by your opponent's card effects, except for effects that would destroy or Tribute them. During the End Phase, if you do not control another face-up "Warmonk" card, destroy this card, and if you do, take 3000 damage.

Slight bump here.

 

I added a clause to the Xyz monsters (Phrenetic Warmonks), stating that if they have a Warmonk monster as an Xyz Material, they cannot be Tributed. This is mainly to stop Kaiju-ing, and in doing so losing your whole field, but also so that it must remain on the field. The point of the Warmonks is that they evolve into a stronger Vanguard to attack with.

 

Also, while you have Warmonk Theatre in play, which is supposed to make the game reminiscent of Cardfight! Vanguard, your opponent will only take damage from your highest Level/Rank monster each turn. This is to help balance it a little, and also bring it closer to the base game.
