Inpachi

Recommended Posts

This thread is about another monster that went cybernetic. Inpachi. Inpachi, as we all know, was a log that was posessed by an evil demon and came to life. When it set itself on fire it became Blazing Inpachi. When it couldn't burn anymore, it then became Charcoal Inpachi. Finally he was fitted with armor and became Woodborg Inpachi.

A few other things I wanted to talk about here. Why did they say that Inpachi was a Machine-Type, if he didn't have any charactersitcs of a machine? Let me know.

Inpachi are interesting monsters since they are in series. Charcoal Inpachi is unusual because it is a Lv1 with 2100 DEF.

Charcoal Inpachi is one of the few powerful Normal type monsters.

Also, the original Inpachi is probably a Machine-type because it does not fit into any type category. Machine is suitable for the original Inpachi.

It looks more plant-like to me since it is a log and a log originates from a tree and a tree is a plant. See how this connects? On the other hand' date=' it could be a fiend because it is a log possesed by an evil spirit. You be the judge.

could it be that inpachi isn't really a tree, but a representation? Let's say, for each time I use inpachi after the colon, replace it with "humanity"

-inpachi begins as life in its purest form, a tree. It is simplicity and beauty, and it grows. Then it is possessed by the evil spirit, and so the story begins.

-inpachi grows strong, becoming blazing inpachi because of the spirit that controls it. It sacrifices its life for power

-inpachi runs out of energy and becomes charcoal... weak with no resources. It's only defense is the pity others feel for it. This is the exact opposite of what blazing inpachi was, fearsome and strong - charcoal inpachi is pitiful and weak

-inpachi is granted a second chance in the form of a mechanical body. The inpachi is free and can function once more, but is no longer the pure life it once was - it is forever marked - and who's to say there aren't more evil spirits just lying in wait..?

how's that? :)
