TOPsycho
Hello again! I'm back with another Altergeist support monster! This time around, she's based around the snakey Medusa, slithering around the Yugioh game area. Her purpose is to help with recursion and recovery. Altergeist MidulsiaDARK/SpellcasterLv6 Effect1800 ATK/2000 DEFYou can reveal this card in your hand (Quick Effect): send 1 "Altergeist" card you control to the GY, then Special Summon this card. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: you can shuffle 1 other "Altergeist" card from your GY into the Deck; add this card to your hand. You can only activate each effect of "Altergeist Midulsia" once per turn. Feel free to comment!

Feel free to comment! This card is overall nice, it synergies with Protocol and marionetter rly well, but ithey doesn't fix main problem of this archtype, this deck is go-slow , so it's hard to summon Hextia and Primebanshee (more powerfull bosses like ultimate conductor tyrrano, masterpeace, or Invoked mechaba are easier to summon). This card could be very usefull for archtype, but it needs some swarming cards.I'm playing this archtype, it's fun to play, but because of its tardiness you have to play engines like invoked, windwitch, shaddoll, or kaiju to make them playable. TOPsycho
In all honesty, Rade3, you don't need to play them in a swarmy way to get ahead at all. The way I run it, I have no outside searching or Summoning other that Spoofing, and Duality. You don't need the Links at all, but even so, once Materialization comes out, they become even better. Their strength is stunning and stalling. They have amazing recovery. As long as you play right and everything isn't instantly negated, Altergeists do fine. Midulsia only helps for reusable fodder, Link fodder, or a way to search turn one. (NS Meluseek, send to GY for Midulsia) Edit: I haven't played against any Meta decks that I remember, but out of a wide selection, they hold up. I run a single Kaiju and SBofKnowledge. No other generics

No other genericsI understand that they are hard-control archtype, but if you look at other stun archtypes such as ABC, or paleozoic, they are not stunning better, but they are so much faster compered to Altergeists . Also alone simply they can't deal with bosses (u need kaijus, raigeki, dark hole, ghost ogre, or fiendish chain to deal with them) only way you can do it is with chocolate magician girl, they are pretty weak Early in game,so they need cards that would make them faster. TOPsycho
If it's alright, Rade3, I would like to discuss our decklists. I don't really see ABC or Paleozoic as stun decks, especially not ABC, but Altergeists do fine. Sure, they don't have very strong monsters, but Silquitous can bounce, Kunquery is a thing, and if you run Dark hole, that works. They don't fair any better than Paleos against really strong monsters, but each has access to tech cards
