Once per turn, you can Xyz Summon "The Phantom Knights of Wretched Mason" by using 1 "The Phantom Knights" monster you control with a different name as material. (If you used an Xyz Monster, transfer that monster's materials to this card.) If this Xyz Summoned card is sent to the GY, or if this card detached as material is sent to the GY: You can add 1 "The Phantom Knights" card from your Deck or GY to your hand.
● While in Attack Position: Once per turn, during your Battle Phase (Quick Effect): You can detach 2 materials from this card; other Level/Rank 4 or lower monsters you control gain 1000 ATK, until the end of the Battle Phase.
● While in Defense Position: Once per turn, during your opponent's Battle Phase (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; it loses 1000 ATK until the end of the Battle Phase.

"The Phantom Knights" monsters on the field gain 300 ATK/DEF. Once per turn, if you control no cards in your Spell & Trap Zone, or if all cards in your Spell & Trap Zone are "Phantom Knights" cards (min. 1): You can send 1 "The Phantom Knights" monster with a Level from your hand or field to the GY, then target 1 Normal Trap in either player's GY; Special Summon that target to your field as a Normal Monster with the same name, Attribute, Type, Level, and ATK/DEF as the discarded monster. (That card Summoned with this effect is NOT treated as a Trap Card.) If any card Summoned with this effect would be sent to the GY, banish them instead.


​Its about time The Phantom Knights got their own Xyz Evolution card and a Field Spell, don't you think. The Xyz Monster has the Zoodiac condition where you can use ANY The Phantom Knights monster (even a Trap Summoned as a monster) as the entire material, but you cannot spam multiple copies of this card unless you use different Phantom Knights monsters. That monster is also an evolution of The Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak, and as such its effects are evolved version of Ancient Cloak's. For starters, its searching effect activates whenever it is sent to the GY, but it must have been Xyz Summoned or detached as material first; its last 2 effects are alternate versions of Ancient Cloak's boost effect, but each only activates depending on its battle position and whether or not its your turn. The Phantom Knights' Burial Grounds has the standard ATK/DEF boost (300), but its last effect is more then enough to change the game, as well as make your opponent think twice about what cards they play. Very simply put, that effect turns ANY Normal Trap into a Phantom Knight, even old-school classics like Mirror Force or Ring of Destruction can become Phantom Knight monsters, but not just your own cards, you can troll your opponent by taking theirs, and with Red Reboot you can shut down any attempt to counter this effect by your opponent.
