When a Trap Card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can discard this card, and if you do; for the rest of this turn, negate the effects of Traps with the same card type (Normal, Continuous, or Counter) as that activated card/effect. You can only use this effect of "Midnight Warwolf" once per turn.



​Sorry Paleozoic players, but after they leaked Red Reboot I just got this sinking feeling Konami was saying "F 'DEM TRAPS" so that Link Monsters can keep being the focus without having to worry about other things getting in their way, then I decided " why not help out" (again I'm sorry). This card is very simple, yet very brutal and again especially against Decks like Paleozoic or The Phantom Knights, if either you or your opponent activates a Trap Card on the field OR an effect of a Trap anywhere, field or GY. I do know that the effect itself is rather picky and won't even phase anything like the Solemn series or Counter Fairies, but it will effectively stop many problems and because the effect is "picky", you can actually play around it to your advantage. If your opponent activates a Continuous Trap and you use a Deck that does not use a lot of those kinds of Traps, you can make it so that your opponent is stunned but you remain "unstunned" (sorry for that couldn't think of a better word).
