Quick-Play Spell Card

Effect: Target 1 monster you control with a Level; send that target to the GY, then Special Summon 1 "LV" monster from your hand or Deck with the same Level as that monster but with a different name, ignoring its summoning conditions. During your Battle Phase: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "LV" monster you control; Special Summon, from your hand or Deck, 1 monster listed in that target's card text, ignoring its summoning conditions. You cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn you use any effects of "Become the LV", except "LV" monsters. You can only use this effect of "Become the LV" once per turn.

 

To kickstart the card, you need to be playing LVs in the first place. First off, I am not giving the first effect any HOPT because LVs are dead anyways and they need ways to make plays, and second off, you need to put in a "LV" engine inside your Deck. Moreover, LV monsters usually don't have effects that are Quick Effects. So if used during Battle Phase, it would be for beatdown. Oh, and of course, it's LV support, so is it abusable? Probably...

A good start, like a "Metamorphosis" for "LV" monsters. 

 

Thought it makes it easier to summon "Armed Dragon LV7" for "Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon" but the Ojama support still seems better

 

"Silent Magician LV8" and "Silent Swordsman LV7" still have good effects and stats but their new support would much easier to pull off

 

"Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8" isn't bad a choice to go into if Silent Magician's effect doesn't do enough for you

 

The rest of the "LV" monsters are basically crap.

 

It's all balanced since you have to tribute a monster that already has that level, "Gagaga Magician" could be good here.

 

During your Battle Phase: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "LV" monster you control; Special Summon, from your hand or Deck, 1 monster listed in that target's card text.

So, you don't tribute the targeted monster? Not bad. Might be a good idea to include to include "ignoring its summoning conditions" to this effect as well.

 

So summon Gagaga Magician and change his level, activate this card to send it to the GY and summon "Silent Swordsman LV7" or "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8". Enter Battle Phase and summon "Silent Swordsman LV5" or "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6". Gets you have 2 nice beaters with decent protection and the lower lever one can still level up later
