counter cards

Nice card - simple and effective. You could make more of it I suppose... but I don't see why that is necessary. If it was any less powerful it wouldn't be much use, and if it was any more powerful it would realistically need to incur some sort of cost to the user. I personally think the balance is just right.

Don't forget - some of the most commonly used cards in the game are equally as simple.

Well I'm against your idea because a simple effect cannot do anything just one thing and it's completely overpowered without any paying?

Think about cards like Gravity Bind, Level Limit Area B, Dimensional Fissure, Stumbling, Wave-Motion Cannon, Needle Wall, Metal Reflect Slime (the list goes on and on) - they could all be considered far more powerful than this card, and still have no cost!

I think you are confusing "complicated" with "effective" - just because a card doesn't have pages of and pages of effects, that doesn't make it a bad card - in many respects it is a much better card as a result.

But did you know that Gravity Bind was the most bad card in the game.

No it isn't Gravity bind is an insanely useful card in a burn deck, a couple of Gravity Binds, a couple of Level Limit Area Bs, a Guardian Sphinx or two, some Needle Worms, various Jars and a few other bits and pieces and you are well on the way to a very effective burn deck.

Anyway back on topic, I like the card, very simple but equally as effective, admittedly the image could be a bit more relevant but even so I give it 8.5 / 10 (with a more appropriate image it would be a 9).

P.S. CN most bad is terrible grammar, worst would be much better.

But did you know that Gravity Bind was the most bad card in the game.

Says who? You? Since when were you the president of the-way-things-are?!

I've used Gravity Bind in many kinds of decks' date=' and it has worked out very well for me in the past. Consider a deck that uses A Legendary Ocean, Gravity Bind and lots of level 4 or lower water monsters. Consider a deck burn deck like stone weasel mentions - again Gravity Bind is incredibly powerful.

Just because [i']you've[/i] never found a use for a card, it doesn't mean that nobody has. I hate to break this news to you, but you don't know every possible deck - nobody does!

Since when are all duelists boys? You're jumping to conclusions somewhat...

p.s. 5% of 20000000000000000000000000000 is 1000000000000000000000000000. Try not to make up statistics like that, it makes you look uneducated.

Just because not many people have realised it's potential does not mean it is not a good card. Very few people run burn decks yet they have the potential to be one of the best decks in the game.

People just get obsessed with attacking, not thinking outside the box and engaging there brain into coming up with strategies that most people will not be able to counter.

I often build decks with no monster with higher attack than 2500 and often not as high as that but I still win an awful lot of duels, often these decks have a gravity bind in them.

Wow, and you've played every duelist in Japan?! That's impressive!!!

I think I've said this before to you, and I'm going to say it again - get over yourself. You don't know everything about everything - so stop pretending that you do, it's pathetic.

CN you do talk gibberish don't you! If you play so much in Japan what would you say the average age of player over there was?

I see you also claim to be a Shaolin in training, yet you still have all this time and money to be playing Yu-Gi-Oh with, something tells me that you have no knowledge of how the Shaolin work or the fact that they are CHINESE rather than Japanese.

Anyway, just because nobody you personally know runs a deck around Gravity Bind some very good potential uses of it have been pointed out to you. It is a very useful card in certain circumstances no matter what you say or what reasons you give for rubbishing it.
