TOPsycho Posted May 18, 2018 Report Share Posted May 18, 2018 Altergeists, a deck that is rapidly gaining fervor in the competitive scene, is a deck that I very much enjoy, and unfortunately they have become a meta deck, and sometime may be removed from that life.Recently though, along with introduction of Emulatelf and Multifaker, came two new Altergeists, neither of which is very useful. Pixiel came close to being a useful searcher, but fell short of the mark. I believe Altergeists deserve a search card, but it must not be too strong, so I have come up with this little beaut. Behold, Altergeist Arachnaga! Altergeist ArachnagaEARTH/SpellcasterLink 1 Left0 ATK~1 "Altergeist" monsterThis linked card cannot be targeted for an attack or card effects. You can send 1 other "Altergeist" card in this card's column to the GY; add 1 "Altergeist" card with a different name from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: you can add 1 "Altergeist" Trap card from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate each effect of "Altergeist Arachnaga" once per turn. I believe she is a very, very impactful card for the archetype, being a better? use of Meluseek in the first turn for searching, being an easy Link, and providing overall searching without being a threat to your opponent.
