Cyber Altair Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 cost is when you have to pay something for the effect to activate, so if a card says "pay 500 points to .........." or "Discard one card to...." then it's a cost. An effect is when a card says "........ to draw 1 card" or "............to increase your Life points by 800" or something like that. Mausoleum doesn't have a cost to activate from your hand, but activating the effect while it is face-up on the field does have a cost. Btw, Calluw, this question has been asked earlier.
