really cool card that i use to get rid of backfield

Recommended Posts

Hehe, I know. It's an awesome card!

It doesn't support OTKs because it only activates in your own card, but it's a good card, that's for sure.

I don't run too many of it, though, because it isn't really effective early in the game.

GS is bad... no one attacks anymore.

No. Grave Squirmer isn't that bad.

give me some good uses for the card.

i find grave often helps against taking out jinzo allowing me to use my traps again to destroy cards or allow me to target pesky back row cards or anything else that i worry about. Its good in my opinion.

It's 1-for-1 removal' date=' in DARK form. Are there any DARK decks which wouldn't mind some 1-for-1 removal?

it's just that nowdays people use effect's to get rid of cards. you know? DAD.

The decks that make Malevolent Catastrophe's effect worth using - the decks with a bunch of Continuous Spells and Traps for stall and burn - are the ones that don't attack enough to make Malevolent Catastrophe worthwhile. Unlike Heavy Storm and Sacred Phoenix, Malevolent Catastrophe still gives your opponent the Main Phase 2 in which to Set or activate additional spells and traps to replace those destroyed, so it's not much use for field-clearing.
