Red-Eyes vs. Blue-Eyes...

Recommended Posts

Okay, I am currently running a deck the has Kaibaman, Blue-eyes, Red-eyes chick, Red-eyes, and red-eyes Darkness...

I have only one of all, and the deck is mostly based on Easy Summon Dragons/Field Clearing.

I know I need to drop either the Red or Blue-eyes set, but I can't decide which. I've kinda gone for pros and cons:

Blue-eyes:

Pros; two card combo, not an instant dead draw, powerful attack points, reaps the bonus of my Pole-Position without fear of my opponent bringing out something stronger.

Cons; Hard to get out, no effect, nothing really combos well with him.

Red-Eyes:

Pros; two card combo, not an instant dead draw

Cons; Hard to get out, no effect

Red-Eyes Darkness:

Pros; Effect, Attack points boosting from my Graveyard, Nice Beatstick

Cons; Dead draw, AMAZINGLY hard to get out, no built in protection, solely based on attack points, can't be brought back.

red eyes' date=' cause the red-eyes series actually have usable cards

The only Red-Eyes cards that are usable are the ones that aren't actually Red-Eyes support (Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon) and the ones that are used for purposes other than that for which they were intended (Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon).

They're both a load of crap.

Use something useful' date=' like Monarchs, Volcanics, etc. Red Eyes and Blue Eyes are both real slow gameplay and you'll lose quickly.

My deck isn't based around them. It is a surprisingly quick deck which uses Pole Position to immuninize my strongest monsters and deal shitloads of direct damage. It also has a lot of focus on deck thinning and field clearing. I can normally cut my deck in almost half and have Blue-eyes, Tyrant, or Felgrand on the field with PP on them by my second turn.

Granted PP is risky, and my field clearing normally gets rid of it, my monsters deal the immune damage they need to, the by my fourth or fifth turn I've either won or am about to.

BTW I took out Red-eyes, since I wasn't running much support for either. Although, Blue-Eyes combos a lot better.

Drop both, run REDRUM, and get yourself a Dragon build going. With 3 REDRUM, it's hard to go wrong.

REDRUM... as in murder spelled backwards or an actual card?

REDRUM = Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon

Is this Red-Eyes/Blue-Eyes deck in real life? Is it TCG or OCG?

TCG Real Life, and I lack Darkness Metal... And the deck is called "Death And Rebirth" I posted an older version of it before.

Then wait for REDRUM to come out in the TCG. Dragon decks suck until then.

It isn't prue Dragon, I also have Creator and other things in there, along with a lot of "The card can be tributed to special summon..." and "This card can be treated as two tributes for..." in there.

"REDRUM" is a misspelling popularized by bad players on Pojo and GameFAQs.

The proper spelling is "GOD". It stands for "God in the form Of a Dragon".

Didn't you contribute to the spread of REDRUM?
