Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
They matter, alright. They're the difference between being able to use RftDD and not being able to. And all kinds of other things. LP costs aren't major, but they aren't totally insignificant.
Kizzi
Life Points don't matter. ATK doesn't matter. Even card advantage doesn't matter in this horrible format, you just need to draw the cards that win you the game.

Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Oh, wait, that's right, I'm such an old geezer of a 12-year-old that I remember when playing YGO required skill. Shame on me, and even more on this crappy format. No, LPs don't matter anymore, all that matters is luck. My bad.

tonisanoob
actually imma dissagree with the pros here every duel that hasnt been a ss deck and somone has used soulem and half their lp THATS the one thing that made me win EVERYTIME and attack does matter and effects to matter equally, it just depends on your strategy and comparing EVERYTHING to dad isnt a good comparison, a guy at my locals made a point the only reason dad won sj is because EVERYONE was running it lp does matter to an extent attackmatters to an extent effects matters to an extent comparing EVERYTHING to dad is ok to an extent okay

The Dark One
DAD is ridiculous. However, you are correct in saying that DAD shouldn't be our standard for a good card. In this format, anything that doesn't belong in a DAD Return deck isn't worth playing. (Well, with LOTD, Lightsworn decks are actually better in my opinion.) In other words, UDE needs to start prepping the ban-cannon.
