Anyway my next post will include my cards for this contest so be prepared, rofl. EDIT: Okay well I've finished the three cards for my entry, although thanks DSS for giving me a few other images I can work on later. Anyway looks like I am gonna have to go explaining tons, rofl. [align=center] The Spellcaster QueenQueen's Knight + Magician's Valkeria/Black Magician GirlThis monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can discard 1 card from your hand to negate the activation of a card effect that targets a face-up Spellcaster-Type monster on your side of the field and destroy it. Increase the ATK of this card by 300 for each Spellcaster-Type monster on the field and in your Graveyard. Okay first things first...the name was an obvious I combined the fact that Valkeria and BMG are Spellcasters with the queen part of Queen's Knight. Next since this is basically the FEMALE version of a Black Paladin fusion I decided that Queen's Knight was an obvious choice since the cards in the image which you can't see reminded me of Queen, King, and Jack's Knight, also I wasn't sure weather to make this a 3 card fusion so I just made the 2nd fusion material an one or the other choice. Therefore this in turn meant that I'd nab Black Paladin's effect but change it so it wasn't the same and more like Valkeria. Finally the last effect is again a nab of Black Paladin's effect but aimed more like BMG's effect, therefore you have a beefed up spellcaster who wants to rip you to shreads. And if you haven't realized I prefer to use the japanese names for BMG, BM, and BP because "Dark" makes it sound horrible. Spellcaster Regeneration BarrierThis card can only be activated if a Spellcaster-Type monster exists on your side of the field. Select 1 Spellcaster-Type monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it to the field and equip it with this card. Increase the ATK of a monster equip with this card by 1000. When a monster equip with this card is destroyed you may remove it from play to add this card to your hand. If this card is destroyed the equip monster is destroyed and this card is removed from play. Now we move onto this little kickass card, first thing I gotta point out is that yes this is a EQUIP TRAP CARD, but it isn't the first as three others exist in the manga so I figured what the hell, simply because I wasn't sure what type it would be, so yeah the whole basis of this card focuses on spellcasters in general but I suppose you could apply it to the fusion monster above. The main basis of the card is to revive a spellcaster and give it a bit of an attack boost, so in a way the card is like a spellcaster using a regeneration spell on a fallen spellcaster. The ending effect pretty much finishes off this effect pretty well. Oh and thanks must go to Dark Spine Sonic for getting the awesome image for this card. Black Magic MeteorThis card can only be activated when a face-up level 6 or higher Spellcater-Type monster exists on your side of the field. By paying 1000 Life Points select 1 face-up Spellcaster-Type monster on your side of the field to destroy every monster on the field except the selected card. Inflict 500 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points for each card destroyed by this card's effect. During the turn this card was activated you cannot conduct your Battle Phase. Final card for this entry and this card just like the trap focuses on all spellcasters but oh well. So the basis of the card is using a spell to call forth a meteor to smash everything except the spellcaster and then deal some heavy damage whilst giving up your battle phase, so a pretty sweet effect but I must add that I used "Black Magic" because it sounds cooler. Oh and yet another thanks must go to Dark Spine Sonic for getting the awesome image for this card. Posted May 18, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 Card 1: The first card's image makes me want to smile and laugh, yet feel annoyed at the same time.Seeing, as I have used it on my card, then posted it everywhere. ^_^Pretty straightforeward effect. Not bad. Card 2: The image is good, and I have not seen it before. Nice.Effect is a bit powerful, but it is just as bad as Magician's Circle though. You have 1 tiny grammar error, just a missing comma. Still overall, good. Card 3: I love the art for this one. It is really good.The effect may be a bit overpowered though. Not that much though.
