Extra Dimensional Portal
Quick-Play Spell
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.
(1) Both Players reveal their Extra Deck, then if both players share at least 1 monster card type (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link) in their Extra Deck declare 1 monster card type (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link), and if you do, both players must banish face-down as many monsters of the declared type as possible (min. 1), then, negate the effects of all monsters of that type while they are on the field, also banish any monsters of that type that leaves the field while players currently control them. In response to this card's activation, your opponent cannot activate the effects of monsters, with the same original type (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link) as the declared monster card type.

Mmm... extremely overpowered effect that is bound to cause a lot of trouble, regardless of if the card affects the user as well or not. There are Decks that can work perfectly fine without Extra Deck, so just them having a small collection of all kinds let them use this card to fullest potential. Massive info obtained from a single card, massive losses for the opponent, massive floodgate.

Even outside of Flundereeze this card could be played in everything just side in 1 of every extra deck type and side this card then play it if your opponent's main type is different then yours.

The way you wrote the card, everything you placed before the declaration of the card type should be part of the cost and activation requirements. That's because only after you declare, does your get his response options (or lack thereof). So that's where you'd put a semicolon (this mark ':')

Regardless of your opponent responding, you already know the entire content of their Extra Deck. And if it goes through, most decks would be left crippled for the rest.

Anything behind ; is a cost

Anything behind : is an activation requirement

, just separate clauses

Since there is no ; negating the card would prevent both players from revealing their extra decks, but if there was a ; after the reveal clause even if the card was negated both players would need to reveal their extradecks.
