Chimerax Archetype

Since Seleiver went so well, I thought I might make a preview of a smaller Archetype of monsters that deal with traps. I'm not sure if I'll pursue this, but tell me what you think!

Monster Name: Baby Chimerax

Attribute: Wind

Level 3

Type: Magical-Beast/Effect

Description: Once per turn; you can shuffle this face-up monster on the field into the deck and pay 500 LP; Special Summon 1 Level 6 "Chimerax" monster to your field.

DEF/100

(A small Support monster. Nothing big here.)

Monster Name: Chimerax Earthbounder

Attribute: Earth

Level 6

Type: Magical-Beast/Effect

Description:

This card cannot be Tribute Summoned. This card must be Special Summoned with the effect of "Baby Chimerax." Once per turn, you can discard two cards, and if you do, target one trap card on the field; negate it's effects, and if you do, destroy it. This card cannot declare an attack the turn it activates this effect. When this face-up monster on the field attacks a Defense-Position monster; inflict piercing battle damage.

(This monster is a great example of what I'm aiming for with this archetype!)

Monster Name: Chimerax Shadowdweller

Attribute: Dark

Level 6

Type: Magical-Beast/Effect

Description:

This card cannot be Tribute Summoned. This card must be summoned with the effects of "Baby Chimerax." Twice per turn, if an opponent's card effect would destroy a Trap Card you control, you can discard one card; negate that effect, and if you do, destroy the card that activated that effect. During your turn, if this monster is in your Graveyard, you can banish 1 Trap card you control; Special Summon this monster onto your field in Defense Position, but its effects are negated.

Monster Name: Chimerax Firestorm

Attribute: Fire

Level 6

Type: Magical-Beast/Effect

Description:

Cannot be Tribute Summoned. This card must be Special Summoned with the effect of "Baby Chimerax." During the Battle Phase, if this monster destroys a monster, gain 1 Roar Counter (Max.1), and, additionally, if it was a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. Once per turn, you may remove one Roar Counter from this card; switch all of your opponent's monsters to defense position. This effect cannot be negated, and this monster cannot attack the turn this effect is activated.

(Yes, somehow, I legitimately got the card number as 99996601 at random. Very crazy. This guy can deal damage viciously!)

Monster Name: Chimerax Lightshimmer

Attribute: Light

Level 6

Type: Magical-Beast/Effect

Description:

FLIP: Deal 1000 damage to your opponent. This monster cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.

Cannot be Tribute Summoned. This card must be Special Summoned with the effect of "Baby Chimerax." During the End Phase, if this monster destroyed an opponent's monster by battle, flip this monster into face-down defense position, and if you do, it cannot be destroyed by battle until it changes position.

(A new card for Chimerax! Finally! This guy attacks your opponent's LP by flipping into attack position!)
