Morgan LeFlay
Information about attachments: An attachment has a RED-colored background. It can be played as a Spell Speed 1 card, and is activated in the spell/trap zone. When it resolves, it is immediately placed underneath the card it attaches to. Unless otherwise specified, attachments can be attached to any card on your side of the field (face-up or face-down) by placing it underneath the attached card. Each card can only have 1 attachment at a time. In addition, if you control a card which currently has an attachment, you can destroy that attachment and attach a new card to it (similar to field spells). An attachment is not treated as a Spell or Trap card, but it is treated as a card on the field, located on the attached card's zone. So, you could destroy it with Snipe Hunter, but not Mystical Space Typhoon (even if it is in the spell/trap zone). If the attached card is removed from the field, or no longer meets the conditions to be attached, it is destroyed. That's basically it, I'll fine-tune the rules once I get my CCG sets using them more. Here's a simple example I made: Feel free to give opinions, thanks! I did forget one thing..disclaimer, Card background was modified by me based on backgrounds provided by yugiohcardmaker.net Also I found the picture on google images. Guest JoshIcy
oohk, enchantment from MTG.... according to your own logic, these cards do not take up space but can still be removed with standard s/t removal. which would make MST very applicable to do the job done.... but it just doesn't occupy a valid zone.... which in turn would make it versatile so i like.... sadly this card is simplistic to a fault even for a first...Concept: 9.8/10Card itself: 2/10Overall: 5.7/10 i bold the concept because the rest is trivial..... Yeah, the card is made to be simple..I'll post better ones later, but I just wanted a simple example (I know that my example isn't meant to be that great. When I make actual cards for my CCG, I'll use a better example :P) Also..I might not have been quite clear. You would put the attachment underneath the attached card. It isn't treated as a spell/trap card, so MST couldn't destroy it. What I was trying to get at was that cards like Snipe Hunter could still destroy it. Also, cards like Blasting Fuse (which destroy all cards in the column) would destroy it, even if the monster wasn't destroyed. It's still treated as a card on the field, in the zone of the card it's attached to. Anyways guys thanks for the feedback :) but yours is just a protective layer?? Mine was complex The example I gave was just a protective layer. You could still make complex cards based on what you want it to do :P Thanks for the feedback, everyone.
